When i worked in Malvern, Ar i would eat lunch here often until they were on the news for being nasty and disgusting and ignoring what the HEALTH BOARD told them need to be corrected.Despite all that i figured i would give them another try since moving to the new location and building. Me and son went there on a sunday afternoon 11/30/2025 around 4:30pm. Soon as we walked in,I didnt feel welcome,it seem like they are not to fond of African Americans. We were sat in the back away from the other 5 tables where people were sitting,the rude lady that sat us,just threw the menus on the table and said “What you want to drink” that could have been asked more politely. Thinking she was our waitress,she bought the drinks and immediately walked away. So we sat there for another 10-12 mins(mind you they was not busy at ALL)before the actual waiter Serigio came to the table to take our order and he was no better than the rude lady that sat us. Another table came in after us and they were greeted with smiles and was welcomed,ordered after us and still received their food before us,,finally here come Serigio with our food,,he literally just tossed the plates down said Hot plates and walked off,,didnt bother asking if there was anything else we needed,which my son wanted a refill because of that salty cheese dip,told my son dont worry about it,you can get a refill when he come back this way,,,Guess what he never came back. Mind you there is 3 other females waitresses doing absolutely nothing but holding up the wall talking in their language pointing and looking our way. Finally Serigio appeared noticed that we were just sitting there and headed our way, at this point I just want the check cause I feel my anger building,,he take forever to print the check,,anyway get to the register and the cashier was no better than the other employees,,no question on how was everything,whch im kinda glad she didnt ask casue i may have hurt her feelings and i didnt want to do that, all she said was cash or card mind you charge you EXTRA IF YOU USE YOUR CARD,I simply said card. That was all the interaction she gave,,until it was the people turn behind us in line to pay,,she was polite and smiling and very talkative with them,I just looked at her and shook my head,our waiter standing right there never opened his mouth to thank us for coming in or enjoy our evening absolutely nothing. The feeling of not wanting us there was very clear. Not sure if this is the same group of people from the old location,1 or 2 faces looked familiar from the old location but never felt the way I did on Sunday. I WILL NEVER DRIVE FROM HOT SPRINGS TO MALVERN TO EAT HERE AGAIN. Food or service was nothing to brag about,,THE ONLY REASON I DID LEAVE A $5 TIP IS BECAUSE ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO MORALLY,knowing what a server makes an hour.

This restaurant is very welcome. Stellar, prompt, attentive service. Delicious, authentic Mexican food. It’s great for groups and it’s great for anyone dining alone. The new building is beautifully decorated. I loved the salsa, and I loved my chile verde. My date and I had a wonderful time, and we will be back.

Had the whole family needing a place to go for a quick bite. Was treated rudely said couldn’t serve us. I said I wouldn’t be back, server said okay good don’t. I know we showed up 30 minutes before closing, still pretty rude.

Service was outstanding. Our server was very patient when I had a difficult time choosing from the numerous possibilities for dinner. I can’t eat meat from mammals so I always have to carefully study menus. After we ordered, the food arrived quickly , hot and delicious! Then, as our granddaughter was celebrating her birthday, they brought her a special dessert, complete with a lit candle. Three servers sang happy birthday to her while she held up in front of her the picture frame they brought to our table. It was fun! Great place with reasonable prices.

This is a chimichanga plate and a big boy special plate.

We come here after floating every time. They’re fast and the food is good. I little better than typical Mexican places. The service is good too. They’re always friendly. The chairs though…good lort! So uncomfortable. Good thing they’re fast.
