El Palacio is such a cherished part of our family’s history. Growing up, I have so many fond memories of dining here whenever I’d visit. While I can’t enjoy the menu as much as I used to due to my dairy allergy, their chips and salsa remain unmatched and are literally my favorite food! We frequently make pick-up orders just for them. Thank you, El Palacio, for being such a staple in our lives. Your legacy and delicious flavors continue to bring joy to our family!

I purchased three fish dinners! I paid $11 each tax included. When I drove home I was shocked. The meals looked like a childs meal. They had cut a single fish fillet into three pieces. I went back into El Palalcio. I said I was expecting 3 fish fillets. I said I want what I paid for. I always received 3 fish filets at any restaurant even here in the past. When I received the meal the potato inside was burnt all the way around dark brown on two of the meals. The fries were half cooked on the other meal. I asked for the manager no manager was on site till 5:00 p.m. so I was told I’ll go get the chef. When the man walks out he’s wearing a dirty gray t-shirt baggy pants looked terrible. Not what I was expecting. We ask where we’re the fish fillets that we ordered. He said you’ve got three pieces of fish that’s what you ordered we’re just being difficult. I said these are not three fish fillets on the trays, he stated you got three pieces of fish. Then he stated the fish comes in different sizes and I can cut it any size I want. I said I just want what I paid for and that’s three fish fillets on each tray so he gets sarcastic and you tell me how big a piece of fish you thank you deserve saying sarcastically making a scene in the restaurant. I asked for a refund and was refused. I said no that’s fine I won’t be back I’ve learned my lesson. After this ordeal I will never eat at El Palacio again And I would never recommend the fish!!! I usually don’t complain but the treatment I received I felt other should know. And who’s handling the food.

This is my all time favorite place to get a Chile relleno. Every time I come into town I have to stop here. ✋️ Cheese dip is really good. The appearance could use a face lift as it has been EXACTLY the same for over 20 years and kinda not in a great way. Service was not great the past few times I came in which was disappointing never got refill, never got checked on once, and people at my table needed things as there order was not correct. Waitress was rude and as if she was annoyed to be there and wait on us. I will be back because I love the food.

Here’s an example of one person loves their food but another, not so much. My BF wanted to go here today. She enjoyed her food but sadly I will probably not return. Our waitress was very experienced & super sweet!
However, to me the food just tastes bland and dry. The cheese dip is the same as what I buy at Walmart. I prefer Taqueria Los Dos (food truck) It’s way better!!
I might add I almost broke my neck slipping on the greasy bathroom floor. GROSS! Now I remember why it had been so many years since I had been here.

ElPalacio is one of my favorite places. Chips and dip served prior to meal. They FILL the chip
basket and bring you enough salsa cups for everyone to have their own, and don’t hesitate to bring you more. The queso is delicious!! The Best Chili Rellenos & Enchiladas in Duncan. The waitresses we’ve had very polite, attentive and got our orders correct.

I’ve been eating here since I was a child. I love their Chile Rellenos, queso, guacamole, and unlimited chips and salsa! Go on Sundays, there’s a small buffet with enchiladas, rice, beans, and all the stuff to make a great chalupa or taco, etc!
