Delicious Cuban food and plenty of it. The selection seems like it doesn’t end. The milkshakes are yummy!

Craving an authentic Cuban Sandwich & upon a recommendation from Captain Dave, at Down South Airboat Tours, My Son and I stopped at Palacio De Los Jugos. Being my Son is Gluten free, he opted for a large piece of Salmon & Green Beans & I indulged in an amazing Cuban Sandwich with Rice & Beans…….Everything was delicious!

First time and enjoyed it. There is a cafeteria style set-up of various hot prepared food choices. I got the lamb shank with black rice&beans and then upcharged to get chick peas with ham chunks as my 2nd side. There aren’t a lot of non starchy side choices other than a veg medley (other choices were a variety of rices, some plantains in a few different ways). I would have liked some veg choices such as maybe a salad, or cabbage, or broccoli, or green beans so that’s one of the reasons I didn’t give 5 stars. The other reason was it would have been great to have prices right in front of the items but I can understand that they might have different foods they cook daily and that might be more problematic. The servers were helpful but if my Spanish was better I would have felt more comfortable (I’m practicing). We did a meat only serving of the short ribs. The roasted pork seemed to be what others came for though you have many choices. We got the pineapple juice. The location has a walk up bar to order juices and batidos and we saw chilled while coconuts as well as some croquettas for quick takeout. They have a few tables under cover on the side so you can sit and eat. We came from Tampa Bay just for the day so this was an enjoyable stop as we were heading back up Route 41.

10 people working there just talkin and standing around not helping anyone. Then a lady wanted to charge me $5 for a diet jupina and wanted only cash. Lazy thieves there. The food is good but the employees are making you lose money. I walked out

The cuban sandwich in this place has much to be desired. Never have I eaten it with chorizo. According to a very unfriendly manager, this is how its done in this chain. Also, the orange juice was mixed with something powered, much like Tang. Not returning!

We haven’t been back to one of these in 15 years when we went to the original Palacio. The prices are outrageous at this point. We had 3 plates and 3 tamales and it came out to over $80. Sorry but the only good thing was the rice. The meat was bland and overcooked and the tamales had no body to them too soft for my taste. Granted this is not the original…but I probably won’t be back for another 15 years after this experience.
