We had the Al pastor tacos and they were delicious. The tacos were generous enough that we shared them. That hot sauce that came with them not only spiced up the tacos nicely but when added to the salsa made it much better.

Great restaurant! The Midwest isn’t known for Mexican food..but this place should be on everyone’s radar! First off, it was the only time I didn’t need to doctor up the salsa for flavor, that’s a good start. I had the Parilla burrito with Steak and my husband had the Salina’s special. We both kept commenting how good it was! The margarita was delicious also. The waiter/owner was a good guy checking on us and making us laugh. Do yourself a favor and go there!!

The food was outstanding. The chips were fresh and crispy, the salsa was chunky and not too hot. I got the enchiladas and they had lots of chicken with excellent flavor. Service was above average and prices were pretty much what I expected. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no waiting.

I was really looking forward to trying El Oaxaco Mexican Restaurant, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. I ordered a margarita, and it was terrible—barely any tequila, and it cost $10. I had to order an extra shot just to make it drinkable, which set me back another $5. On top of that, the salsa tasted like a generic store brand, and the chips were stale.
The final straw was the rude staff. I didn’t even bother ordering food after that experience. Definitely not worth the time or money—won’t be coming back.

Came in for a late dinner planning to split a burrito, but after meeting the owner/chef, we stayed and added tacos and relleno to the order. They were all delicious. Later, we were treated to a taste of chicken mole. So good!
