We’ve eaten in once and had a relatively positive experience. We downplayed the fact that our vegetarian fajita dinner came with a piece or two of chicken. Sloppy, but they readily replaced the dish. Mistakes happen.
Ordering out was something far worse. The dinner hour was busy and the wait was 45 minutes. I accepted that. On arrival, the wait person who took my call disappeared into the kitchen. I thought he went to fetch my order. 15 minutes later he returned. He handed me the bagged order that had all along been sitting in front of me on the table. He said only half of the order was prepared. I asked why and all he said was that they were busy. I asked how long to prep a second dinner: 40 minutes, because the kitchen was busy. No interest in owning or fixing the error. No acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I kept my word and bought the one dinner. The food was ice cold and lacked tortillas. Good restaurants own and fix their mistakes. They lost a customer.

First of all, I would love to say how amazing the people are here. They are some really jolly people and they are always in a good mood. The food is amazing here and I really love the sushi they serve in this restaurant. They also have a really good menu and have many options of different food. The prices of the food is pretty good, and the food is just so delicious, never not had a meal that I didn’t like. Everything about this restaurant is beautiful!!!! I 10/10 really recommend coming to eat at El Nuevo Tequila for a tasty and delicious meal after a event or for lunch/dinner or just if you’re hungry overall!!! I don’t know what else to say so ima just put pictures of all the food I had in this restaurant. (Ps if you get the sushi, ask for it to be fried )

Cold beer. Decent food. Service was lacking a bit. Finished our entrees before getting tortillas, but it was busy, so you have to be understanding of that fact.

If we could leave a negative star for the quality of food it would be a negative 4 stars. The chips were the only reason it wouldn’t be a negative 5 stars. Service???? Our waiter was polite. However, he was rushing us to hurry and order, BUT once we got our food he was very slow to return. The food? Was the most disgusting thing we have had. The cheese dip for an appetizer was very runny, almost water like. The enchiladas were so cold that the cheese on top never melted. The sauce on top was cold and literally tasted like vomit. The Mexican rice tasted like normal white rice, and the refried beans had the taste of the metal can it probably came out of. Once we tasted how cold and awful it was, we sent everything back explaining why. When the bill came ther wasn’t even a hint of a discount. The waiter said he advised the manager of our bad experience and the management was evidently like “oh well”. The only positive was we did have a beer, and it was cold. We will never be back to this place and will definitely warn others.

Terrible management! We ordered 2 Mexican street corns and when they arrived to the table they were cold as if they were just taken out of the freezer. We took only one bite before I politely asked the server to take them off our bill. he said his manager said they couldn’t do that. I then politely asked if we could get them remade instead and the manager said we could not get another order of corn without paying for it. When I asked him why he said that it was because they had thrown away the previous cold corn. We also ordered the tequila chicken which was very bland. The waiter was kind but management needs to improve.

One of the top Mexican restaurants in the area imo. Service is kinda slow but for me I prefer being left alone until I ask for something so that was perfect for me.
The ACP for lunch is probably one of the most flavorful this side of NC.

Food is good. Came here often. Always recommended people to come here. Brought family from out of town here every time. However. I ordered a dish with the verde sauce. Have ordered this multiple times before. Super delicious. This batch of sauce was super spicy to the point I could not eat it. After talking to management I found out that I wasn’t the first to complain about how spicy this sauce batch was. But because the restaurant would lose out of to much money to remake or replace it without charging me for 2 dinners. There was nothing management would do. Hope the $2-$4 loss on the chicken was worth losing the word of mouth and future years of patronage to the facility. And to top it off the staff stood behind the bar talking shit about how I was complaining about the sauce in Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish but I’m not dumb. But if ur looking for a place that doesn’t ID for alcoholic drink this is the bar for you!

Ordered 40 dollars worth of food, delivered by DoorDash. The food was “cold”! Not warm, not cool, but cold! We have eaten here before and it was good. But it’s been awhile. All I can say is it was the worse food experience ever. Will never eat here again. Cheesy rice was stuck together in globs and cold! Enchiladas so cold, taco salad very cold, my 92 yo mom’s taco not only looked gross but tasted gross! It was very obvious the meat was cooked quite a while back.
