Best Mexican food in Pueblo. Consistent quality. The green chili is the perfect texture and flavor. There’s attention to detail in everything. The rice and beans are better than any other place. Without a doubt, the best enchiladas, tostadas and tacos in Pueblo. The Monster Burrito is amazing!! This will be your new favorite place. Locally owned and operated for multiple generations.

I’ve been coming to El Nopal since the early 90’s and the food is still very delicious! I highly recommend the Mexican Pizza! Whenever I come through Pueblo, I always stop at El Nopal!

The food was still good as far as the enchilada and Chile rellono and the green chili. But was very disappointed on the chips not complimentary anymore . Do not mind paying for chips and salsa but not when they are from a bag and taste stale not even warm. $7.00 Dollars for a small bowl of guacamole that was not fresh like it used to be. Something like baby food out of a jar. Not impressed. So many good memories of this restaurant just let down. Prices up quality down. Staff was still nice and courteous. Just things like mentioned above that tainted the experience.

Tasty, authentic Mexican food. My only complaints were a cold bean tostada and chips and salsa that weren’t great — the salsa came in a tiny to-go cup. Everything else was delicious.

The food here was great. It’s different from other Mexican food around and always consistent high quality. It’s truly unique in town. It’s become a staple to us in our Mexican food arsenal.

This place was great, apparently we missed the rush which was good so we were able to take our time. The salsa served with the chips was very good, nice and thick with a touch of heat. I ordered avocado and pork burrito with mild green chili. The chili was VERY tasty and the pork was well cook and also delicious. It’s a little place that looks as if it been here forever but imo those are the best. It is located very close to the highway so it is very easy to get to. I will definitely make this a normal pit stop and you should too.

Dry. Bland. Boring. So is the service. If you ask for somthing, the old lady will ALWAYS have something else to do, before she can help you.
Also, they only have Pepsi products. If you order a coke or sprite she will take your order as if they have it but then serve you Pepsi or Mist without telling you.
It’s also very quite. I feel like I’m in a library. Flys flying around all over the place. Bathroom is gross…
