We stopped by El Nopal Mexican Restaurant to pick up breakfast burritos for the crew as a small way to show appreciation for their hard work — and it was a great choice.

Having this place close to our job site was definitely a plus. It made it convenient to grab something solid and fresh before the workday really kicked in.

The prices could be a little more forgiving, but honestly, I didn’t mind too much because the quality of the food made up for it. The burritos were packed, flavorful, and very delicious. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.

Overall, it was a great experience, and the crew enjoyed it. Good food, convenient location, and worth it when you want something that actually tastes good.

I’ve had countless tacos here and they’ve never missed!! Always fire and they come loaded with meat, cilantro, onions and then grilled onions and jalapeno on the side! Plus a fresh salsa bar with flavorful and spicy salsas – Fire!! They got Taco Tuesday too, $1.50 per taco so this is THE lunch spot every Tuesday for me. The burritos, chimichangas and chicken mole are also great! Would be better if the place was bigger but definitely worth coming back to again and again.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. And the price is reasonable. They don’t have vegan options on the menu but enthusiastically made two vegan breakfasts for us. For less than the price of a meal on the strip, you can catch a rideshare to and from here and have better food!

Inside is like a small cafe. There were leftover dishes with food on them at the trashcans, from people who had left already. The floors & tables were very clean otherwise. Food is served on plastic plates with plastic utensils.

Food was decent, but cold. I ordered an enchilada combo, 1 each of chicken and cheese. The chicken was just chicken and spices. The cheese wasn’t even melted. The green sauce, while flavorful was also cold. The rice had a unique flavor I haven’t had before. The refried beans, surprisingly tasted not of lard, but something else – vegetarian perhaps?

My wife had a chile rellano combination. Hers was smothered with sauce, so much that it wasn’t recognizable. Everything was cold. She reported that the tortillas on the side got hard fast (an indicator of heating up in a microwave – not in a pan/stove).

You order at a counter, but the food is delivered. You then bus your own tables. This is more of a restaurant to eat lunch at, than to take a family. They don’t automatically serve chips and salsa and bring you drinks.

I was wondering why they didn’t have 2 item combos or 3 item combos, but did see then menu offered items ala cart. But the prices seem a bit high to make a combo plate for those rates.

We will NOT be returning. I can forgive the ordering style, plastic plates/utensils, even poor service. But cold food is a big no-no for me.

It’s okay at best. For the price, you get relatively large portions. I ordered the “lemon chicken salad” and the chicken was very dry. If youre in a rush and want something cheap you might want to check this spot out.

I’m a very big advocate of small businesses, I do believe they drive the community. However, that does not give a small business any kind of pass. If you want your small business to flourish you still need to provide all the bare essentials, I’ve never been to a place that doesn’t provide refills on coffee nor a place that doesn’t have sugar alternatives. Those were my first two impressions, the cashier was texting as we were trying to place our order. Very unprofessional, let’s get down to the reason why we came. The food!! It looked good, but the flavor was absent. Also, they only had milk instead of creamer but it wouldn’t have mattered because it was too bitter for my taste. I will say their portions were decent.

Food is just ok, but service is horrible! I originally ordered one thing off the menu and the cashier said they don’t have that there, but it’s on the menu… hmm. Then I tried ordering another item off the menu and again she rudely said they don’t serve that there… but again, it’s clearly on the menu!!! So I ended up ordering something else, not what I was craving for. The place is very hidden, small, nice and clean. Food is just ok nothing special at all. The cashiers are very rude and have no customer service whatsoever! Not sure if I’ll return to this place again, not worth it.

Terrible customer service. The guy behind the counter kept distracting the other employees so my order took 20 minutes longer than it should have.
