I love this place! I use to go to the one on frankfort and I just checked out the new place on bardstown road today. Its decorated well, the food was delicious and came out super fast, the margaritas are amazing, and the service was lovely. Highly recommend checking them out.

El Mundo is consistently top tier. The food is always on point, and the offerings are expertly crafted. I was moved to the point of reviewing because our service tonight was outstanding. The service never leaves one wanting at El Mundo, but we’ve had the pleasure of being served by Edward (snagged your name from the receipt!) a couple of times now, and his service is exemplary.
I spent many years in food service, and I can tell you that Edward should teach a master class on service. He is easily in the top five servers I’ve ever encountered in my storied life.

Not what I was expecting. Uncomfortable seating, very dim lighting. Noisy ambiance. Food was average and didn’t warrant the higher price. You have to pay for your chips and salsa. No onions and green peppers on fajitas. Lots of other things. Soft drinks were flat, had to send them back. Service slower than normal . . . due to the fact our server had to constantly go up and down stairs I think. Parking was tricky.

The food was excellent! Both entrée were expertly prepared and delicious. Our server was prompt, knowledge, and helpful. The only negative was the noise level, which was considerable. Otherwise, El Mundo is a must.

I had the Bison Enchiladas with Verde sauce and She had the Muscles. We both washed it down with margaritas and finished off with Mike’s special cheesecake. It was all wonderful. I highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back.
