Food was so fresh and HOT we actually had to wait a little before eating. Everything we ordered was well seasoned. Customer service was great even in their busiest time. It was very busy tonight. They did not stop moving at all and always made sure everything was ok on our table.

This is the worst restaurant we have ever ordered from, everything from hair in the queso to refried beans that looked like soup beans without the beans. I brought it home and we threw it all in the trash. Never again. If in Sanford, go to San Felipe for Mexican food.

By far the best chimichanga plate I’ve ever had. I was actually surprised that they charge so little for what I consider to be 5 star worthy food. Their rice has a cheesy twist to it and the salad they served came with a fine guacamole. Their salsa is amazing with just the right amount of kick to it. Definitely the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. I spoke to a gentleman named Felimon about a sauce served with tortilla chips at a place called Plaza Azteca in Kill Devil Hills, and he made it a point to get their information in order to try to match it! I really appreciated the fact that he took the time to do that. Great service and great food! If you’re ever in Sanford, you should check out this family owned restaurant! I’m definitely going to be one of their regulars from this point on and I would recommend the same to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food as much as I.
