The worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too. I wouldn’t even give a 1 star but I had to leave a review. All the food was either out of a bag or can. No seasoning, my steak nachos was shaved steak for a Philly topped off with nacho cheese from a can. Save your money and go to Taco Bell it’s closer to authentic Mexican food than this place!!!!!

They did fit our large group of 10 in, but that was the best part. Food was disappointing, only one server so long wait for everything. Now we know why they could accommodate a large group on a Friday night. I wish we’d have read reviews. The waiter was running, he sure was trying his best.

My husband and I have been here twice in the last month. The food is delicious, fresh, & authentic. This will be one of our go to when in KBC. Highly recommend

Spotless small casual restaurant with good service and very good food. Had quesadilla and enchiladas, came with good beans and yellow rio e. Great value too

Great little place. Was easy to walk to from our hotel room at the Fairfield inn. The chimi was delicious and so were the beans. The rice was bland but still good. Only real problem was they were out of diet coke

Been there several times. Tacos are good. Enchiladas are good. Beans and rice good. Homemade tortillas. Chicken soup was really good. Serve beer and margaritas. Chips and salsa served free on the first round. Family business I believe. 7-8 year old girl was helping and learning work experience. Nothing wrong with that.

This is a solid place to skip. Margaritas weren’t good. Queso was like ballpark nacho cheese. Salsa had no flavor but was so hot you couldn’t eat it. Tacos had no flavor and were super greasy. Fajitas weren’t seasoned. Cheese for quesadilla was just orange cheddar which is weird for a Mexican restaurant. Service was so slow. Tables were all filled with dirty dishes long after guests left.

I’ve tried a lot of steak tacos in the Keys and so far this is the best. They got the steak and the tortilla just right. I ordered a chicken soapa and it was good the cheese was the best part. The chicken was bland so don’t order the chicken just stick with the steak. Also the chips and salsa was surprisingly good Like way better than I’ve had in a long time anywhere. You can tell the chips are homemade by the way they are fried and that salsa was freaking delicious. Even the homemade sauces on the table were surprisingly good. And i got a large Jamaica It’s like a hibiscus type of drink but its homemade and not over sugared Pretty good..

We love Mexican restaurants and have eaten at 100’s of them all across the country. This is only the second one that we have come across that charges per basket for chips and salsa. I personally will go through 4 or 5 bowls of good salsa, putting it on my entire meal. Luckily this was just so so chips and salsa, so we only needed 3, and we’re charged $6 for each bowl. I’ve only found 1 other restaurant that charged for the chips and salsa, and they only charged for the first, not the refills. Every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to sets the chips and salsa on your table as you are seated, no charge.

If you’re looking for the real deal, this is it. The food is incredibly authentic—so much so that English isn’t the primary language spoken here, and the crowd is almost entirely locals. We felt like the only ones ‘out of place,’ but the food was absolutely delicious. A must-visit for genuine Mexican cuisine!
