Ordered the Camarones a la Diabla. My wife ordered the beef cheek and beef tongue taco. Our waiter was very friendly but did not speak English well (no reason to dock points – how many languages do you speak proficiently?).
The “Deviled Shrimp” were delicious, but spicy. The shrimp did not *look* like they would have the level of spice/flavor they had, but they did indeed. White corn tortillas were brought after the dish was delivered and were delicious as well.
The beef cheek/tongue tacos had a lot of cilantro (not my favorite, but also not my order – she loved them). I did sample the beef and it was fantastic – flavorful and tender.
It was VERY quiet and not busy on a Thursday around 5:00 p.m. $30 dinner for two. Very affordable in today’s economy. We will likely be back in for more tacos!
(Extra info: Pepsi products. Bottled water, no tap.)

I decided to try out El Milagro Taqueria Y Pupuseria. I was not sure when this restaurant opened but I know the building used to house the old Hooters. I wanted to try their fajitas because I haven’t had fajitas in such a long time. I wanted something sweet as well and I found the sopapilla on the menu. I ordered online and prepared to go pick it up.
When I got to the restaurant I was greeted by an employee. I did not see it but he had my order with him. I opened my mouth to say I ordered online my food was in my hand.
When I got home, I was ready to dig in. I didn’t realize it came with chips and salsa and also rice, beans, and salad. I looked around for the sopapilla but I didn’t find it. I guess I should’ve checked the bag before I left.
Anyway, I tried their fajitas because chips and salsa and they were alright not the best I’ve had. Then I tried the beans, rice, and salad. I have to say that this was probably the best combo of rice, beans, and salad I’ve had from a Mexican restaurant. It was just so flavorful. Now the fajitas were ok. I got the chicken fajitas and I realize fajitas are probably best had in the restaurant. The fajitas were very warm so they didn’t lose much heat on the drive home.
I will give it a 3/5. The food was not spectacular and also I didn’t get the sopapilla. I do want to come back though.

Glad they’re closed down. A small coke was damn near $4. The drink with a shrimp quesadilla plate came up to be $18. ♀️ I can get more full and spend less money at Taqueria Mexico. They also don’t put napkins or salsa in your bag when you’re taking out.

Chips were in stale, asked for new ones. Since I do not understand Spanish and they couldn’t understand me, it was hard. They replaced them, was the same stale as I said they didn’t understand. Just ordered cheese quesadilla and cheese dip. Had to point at the menu. Ordered water, they gave us bottles instead of tap. Not a bad price for 2 $1.98. Our first time and wanted to try out. We will not be going back.

Adding this to the list of places I won’t be returning to. Food was subpar, service was mid. Not a lot of people there either. Might have been the old restaurant smell. Pupusas are overpriced. If you’re gonna charge $4 for a pupusa it needs to be best ever.
The chorizo queso was alright though. Good idea, just serve it with more chips, not flour tortillas, what am I supposed to do with the flour tortillas?
Mobile seems to have a real struggle to have good authentic Latino food. I guess comparing this to the others it isn’t that bad.

I’ve enjoyed the other location and was excited to see this one! They serve Mexican and Salvadoran food. I already know they have great pupusas so ordered those. If you’ve never tried them, my favorite are the mixed which has beans, cheese and meat inside corn flour dough and grilled to a flat patty. Dip them in the red sauce, so good. Also picked up a carne asada taco and a chicken taco for protein. It has only been open a week so I don’t think people know they are there yet and they weren’t busy. Got my order quickly. I ordered to go, but they have plenty of tables to dine in. Very casual atmosphere.

Great food! Had the Cameron Diablo and the Carne Polo. The hot sauces that came with the food were delicious but my favorite by far was the shrimp sauce. The flavor was one of the best I’ve ever had. I am not a fan of rice usually, but it had great flavor.
