I ordered Mexican eggs and got oily eggs. The smell and the taste nasty. No quality control, careless about customers health and no pride on their product. Not the 1st time this happened last time was bad shrimp. This restaurant used to be good but now is poor quality. Will not order from Mezcal again.

This visit was so disappointing! We’ve been here many times in the past and have always given great reviews but this time was so different. Granted, it’s been a few months since we’ve been here but we used to be regulars. Possibly there are new owners?
We had a variety of problems . First of all the restaurant was freezing. It was hot outside and so people are coming in with summer clothes. Everyone was complaining. When we asked if the temperature could be turned up the manager said the boss would get mad.
Our server just wasn’t attentive at all. There were very few people in the restaurant so we didn’t understand why she kept ignoring us. The manager was very nice and tried to help out by bringing more chips and also some silverware which none of us had when our food came. The food was just not as good as we’ve had in the past either. The chicken was skinny little strips and very few vegetables in the “Arturo special”. My husband had a quesadilla fajita and it looked exactly like mine but in a small tortilla. My grandson had a Mexican hamburger and it wasn’t cooked all the way. It was still red. Empty cups, plates and bottles were not removed until we left.
We probably will not return.

We were very satisfied with the waiter. He answered all our questions promptly and was very helpful. The food was perfect, and the portions were huge. The 1L Margarita cocktail is a must-try!

So I’ve been going to this place for seven years and my son and his college friends go here as well. Well we decided to eat here and get a couple of meals and they were not cooked right and I tried to speak with the manager or the owner and the owner refused to talk to me. I highly recommend not going to this place because the food is not cooked. There was bugs in our food and the staff is absolutely rude . There are gnats that fly around there’s roaches that crawl on the floor. . I am asking all college kids the boy caught this restaurant and the one in Farragut

The building is way cooler on the outside than on the inside. There is nothing that makes this place stand out. The food is ok but not great. The service was fair. It is just like so many other Mexican restaurants nothing special. Meh..

Best Mexican in the TN Valley! Affordable, Wide range of regional dishes and quality basic staples like rice and beans. Service is always top notch. Food is always hot and fast.

Been going here for years and have generally had good experiences. However, during recent visits the chips were stale and our server wasn’t attentive to our table. The food is pretty good, but there are better Mexican restaurants in the area. Still definitely a good lunch spot though.
