We had a party of 15, they handle us with no issues. They split the billing according to the different families.The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The margaritas were delicious! Well done! Highly recommended.

A friend wanted mexican food, and I had been wanting to try this place for about a year. So the stars aligned, and so El Mezcal was the destination. Colorful upbeat kinda vibe and friendly staff. I ordered my measuring stick combo plate of cheese enchilada and a beef taco combo. The combo plate was about what you would expect. Good and tasty. If you want basic Mexican restaurant style Mexican, you won’t be disappointed. But I also ordered a street style chicken taco. And the game changed. Very good! I will return and delve a little deeper into the menu and leave an update. In summation, give this place a go if ya got a hankerin for some restaurant/Tex Mex food.

Sad to write this after celebrating many birthdays and other celebrations . I will not be back The beyond rude service The lack in the food is not the same. The server would not wait on us rang up the wrong items the wrong amount and gave such attitude. He even stated that he did not care about his job when I asked to speak to the manager I was told there was no manager there was no owner.

This place is a fantastic, hole in the wall spot! The service was very fast, even for a Friday night and fully packed. I got the vegetable fajitas and my partner got Chile rellenos. Amazing food, great portions. We will definitely be back when we are in Cullman.

1st was told couldn’t make a cranberry and vodka because they didn’t have the ingredients. All the food tasted like cardboard. Then got the bill and had fees that were not advertised. Asked the waiter again why they couldn’t do a cranberry and vodka, he said they didn’t sale the vodka!?!!
Probably some of the grossest food I have ever ate!
I’ll starve before ever eating there again!!!!
