Excellent flavor, enormous portions, fantastic prices, and fast, friendly service. I really enjoyed the Gigantic Burrito with shredded chicken. The cheesy sauce was delicious. The quantity and quality of food is an incredible value for the price. I highly recommend this restaurant.

**THIS REVIEW PERTAINS TO THE BINFORD LOCATION** We had a stellar dining experience tonight! From the cleanliness and friendly staff to the food! I ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños, shredded chicken taco salad, and the house margarita! Everything was delicious, fresh, and served promptly after ordering. We are already looking forward to a return trip which will be very soon!

So typically I don’t leave bad reviews buuuut.. this place…. So, I stopped in for lunch (first time I’d ever been to this particular El Mason) and was waiting on my wife to arrive, so I ordered a top shelf margarita and the server brought me a basket of chips and a small bowl of salsa. It took her about 15 minutes to show up so I went through the salsa while I was waiting. When i saw her walking in, I asked the server to bring us 2 bowls of salsa because I add hot sauce to mine and she’s not a fan. He comes back with one bowl. I mentioned to him that I had asked for 2. He tells me that after 2 (very small) bowls he will have to charge me for additional bowls thereafter. I have never been told that before. Now granted, if I walk in and order only a drink, no food, then, ok.. charge me $7 or whatever for an order of chips and salsa. But in this case, we both were going to have a couple of drinks, a churri-queso and an entree a piece.. off of the regular menu BTW, not the lunch menu so that we would have leftovers for dinner. I assume our bill would have been $75+ Happy to pay it for good drinks, food and service.

Food is normally good. This time I went not at all no flavor very rushed. Customer service was bad. My friend was there before me. When I got there I ask for a few minutes to order. A half a hour later a different person came and took our order. Brought our food out . My shrimp wasn’t cook all the way. No favor. Drop it on the table and left. Never came back no refills, didn’t ask If we needed anything else. The original sever pick up our empty dishes said nothing no check nothing! Got up to go to the register to ask for the check a nice waitress told us we pay at the table she then proceeded to get out check and ring us out. Honestly we don’t go that often because of the bad service. But the food is normally really good.

Greeted promptly upon entering with a big smile. Restaurant looked clean and other patrons seemed content with the food and service. You can see it in their faces when their not. Ordered Tortilla Soup and Juanito Tacos. Although a bit salty for my taste, the soup was quite good. Three tacos are enough by themselves here. Packed to the rim with pork, onions and cilantro you definitely get your money’s worth.
