Met the owners during our dinner. Enjoyed great conversation and AUTHENIC food. If ever in the area do yourself and everyone you know a favor and enjoy a meal here. 10/10!

As much as I hate to out this place, there is a hidden restaurant in the back of the store with amazing Mexican food. The reason why I hate to out it is because it’s never crowded because I don’t think anyone knows about it. If you hate crowds and modern busy life, it’s a great place to go hide and eat nurturing comfort food. Super friendly staff.

I like this place. Its a small little hispanic grocery store with a good assortment of Mexican candies and pan dulce, some that I used to eat in my childhood. The cashier lady its really sweet and helpful. They have a few fresh fruits and veggies, like peppers, pineapple and avocados, plus a few more things like cheeses (oaxaca and queso fresco) and flan and pudding cups with jello squares and drinks. The back of the store is a little restaurant. My sister raved about their tacos, so I had lengua and steak, along with rice and beans. The rice was like normal rice from hispanic restaurants, and very good. The beans were fantastic. Ive never had refired beans from a restaurant. They were well seasoned with different flavors and had peppers and other veggies in them. The tacos were also exceptional. The lengua was nice and tender and the steak was seasoned to perfection. The only thing is that you may have to ask for more lime wedges or buy them in the store section becauae they only give you one wedge, and they could cut the tastebuds off of the lengua, since its a but weird to keep it on. Otherwise, My new favorite taco spot when I go to newark!

Food, eh, customer service, eh, honestly I’m more concerned about the sanitation there unfortunately. Some of the employees are slightly more concerned about playing video games while on the job than getting your food right. Also, I am not certain of this, but I also think they have plans on eating food that I ate from and returned because I presonaly didn’t like it.
Just odd, and nasty. My girlfriend hasn’t stopped vomiting since we left.

First let me tell you they use google pictures to advertise their “food” i ordered for pick up and it took them a good hour and a half to prepare food. When i got home and saw that the food wasnt as i ordered i called and they never answered and they blocked me on Facebook.
