This quaint little restaurant is easy to access, lots of parking, and near the channel. Our server Stephanie was very kind and attentive. We were quickly seated and served tortillas with salsa/beans. I wish I took better photos before our food was eaten! The food was delicious, we will definitely be back.

I rarely post reviews but this one deserved it. They brought out a free appetizer of chips, beans and salsa that was really good. I ordered two delicious fish tacos for only $6.95, cheaper than going to Taco Bell and way better. My server Alex was super nice and attentive.

Slightly different from other Mexican restaurants as Mexican food tends to be. Daughter said it would not disappoint and it did not. Small and crowded and somewhat loud, but I recommend it. They have expanded some for 2024. Food is not spicy hot.

If you order the fried ice cream remind them to do a quick deep fry on it so you get the hot cold experience of the dessert. They that they were clever but the giggling about not frying it gave them away. What a shame

After a really long day of taking in the sights, we were very, very hungry. Looked up a Mexican restaurant on the phone and El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant came up. Decided to give it a try based on the reviews. Ordered a carnitas plate along with a chili relleno plate. Let me start by saying that the chips and salsa (along with some beans) that were brought out to the table were top notch. Finished them off, but turned down anymore as we wanted room for our food. Both our plates were nice large portions and both were very tasty. The beans and rice served along with the main dish are excellent. Flour tortillas were warm and very good. Server was right on top of everything. Even got a nice desset as it was my birthday that day. For a place we “picked at random”, we totally nailed it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some moderately priced and VERY good food.

I just stopped here for an appetizer and drinks before Mario’s opened. The beans and salsa is on the house and we just ordered a beer and happy hour margarita. Walked back to restroom and came to decide not to order anything. It smelled horribly walking back to my table. I didn’t want to eat there anymore. Great service, our server was friendly and fast, price for happy hour is fair. I won’t be returning.
