It’s at a shopping plaza. There’s a market next to it.

Ordered 3 chicken taquitos, 1 chicken tostado, 1 chicken quesadilla app, guacamole, chicken fajitas with bean salad, a side of refried beans. $57.36

They absolutely don’t accept Amex cards at all. Unbelievable, beyond disappointing.

The corn chips are quite greasy, but crunchy.
The guacamole isn’t too bad. We asked for jalapeños to add to it, we got pickled jalapeños. I would have thought they would have loads of fresh jalapeños, given the type of cuisine here. The pickled jalapeño gives the guacamole a very different taste to it.

Cheese everywhere. Ugh. All over the taquitos and the chicken tostada too.

The chicken in the taquitos are hard as jerky. The rest of the chicken in the taquito is super dry.

The bean salad is so-so, has overcooked peas in it, corn, bland beans, red pepper, tomatoes.

The chicken fajita is okay, a tad dry, there’s some tomatillo or salsa verde in the grilled chicken with the red pepper, green peppers and onions.

The small pico that comes with the fajita has good heat, from the fresh jalapeños.

The quesadillas have a ton of cheese, not a lot of chicken inside, looks like an after thought.

Service was ok.

Food was subpar. Nothing notable.

El Mariachi Mexican restaurant has a large selection of food to choose from they even have hamburgers and chicken fingers for someone that doesn’t want delicious Mexican food. They have accommodate a larger group for us a couple times. Everyone really enjoyed the food choice they chose. My husband tried the Southwest Pasta for the first time he and a friend, and they both liked it and would order it again. Chili Rellos, Burrito Veracuzuro, both pictured and Pina Colada Milkshake are so delicious. My favorites. They have something for everyone. They have a small
Mexican Market nextdoor. We eat here at la few times a month.

Came out as a late birthday treat. Food was incredible, the place was clean, and service excellent. Props to Chelsea for making sure our drinks were always full and giving us the best salsa.

Food is disgusting. Chips were stale. Salsa was flavorless. Chicken Tortilla soup tasted like over salted tomato soup. Chicken nachos were served cold with Munster cheese.

I ordered fajitas to go and it was nasty. Unfortunately I was starving and still managed to throw the shrimp up. No seasoning what so ever and the tortillas were put in the box with the fajitas, I was shocked they put it in with them because as I took them out the tortillas were soaked with sauce and weren’t even cooked right I think. The tortillas on the left of the picture are theirs and mine was the one on the right. Why spend money on somewhere else’s food when you can cook it better at home. Never again!

Lots of folks post food pictures from this place because it’s really good. I’m posting a picture of a delicious drink I had called a Michelada. (Beer and a special Bloody Mary type of mix…yet different.) I love the seasoning on the rim also! Very creative. Very delicious. Kudos to the bartender. Also kudos to whoever created the colorful room ambiance. These two things make this restaurant rise above in my opinion from other Mexican restaurants we drove past to get to this one. Look around. Lovely wall art. Swirl on the ceiling. But I especially loved the lights with the circle in the middle that illuminated the center of the table and dispersed soft gentle lighting to the rest of the table yet wasn’t harsh or glaring. What I hate in restaurants is what I call ‘garage lighting’. Cozy partitions all around the restaurant also make it feel like you aren’t eating right next to strangers…even if you are. I see they strived for the colorful, warm & cozy feeling and certainly achieved it. I want to impart that I appreciate all the extra efforts they went thru because eating out includes more than good food and some places miss that point. Go there. I know we will be back because I love the Tilapia too.

Grabbed dinner here after Comic Con and it was delicious!! Their chips and salsa are top notch! Super crispy and hot tortilla chips, there’s nothing better.

We got the quesabirria tacos and oh man, amazing. Full of flavor, melty cheese and crispy! The consomme was so flavorful!
Their refried beans are absolutely delicious as was the rice.

Restaurant was super clean and our waitress was so sweet and helpful. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

First time here and we really like it. Food was really good (not greasy) our waitress was very sweet and friendly. The restaurant has a nice set up and the music was excellent. A singer was playing his guitar and singing very soft internal and delightful music. We were impressed so impressed that we ended up complementing the singer. We will definitely come back.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I was highly displeased with my experience here. Tried this spot in Novi hoping for something authentic, but it definitely didn’t meet expectations. It wasn’t your typical Mexican restaurant place, and surprisingly, there were no specials or deals for Taco Tuesday.

Our server was dry—not rude, just not very welcoming—but she got the job done. We started with the queso, which was honestly terrible. Ended up sending it back.

I ordered the quesadilla birria and would give it a 5/10. It lacked flavor and spice. The rice was decent, though I didn’t understand the addition of peas. The dipping sauce was also bland and lacked any depth of flavor.

Overall, not a place I’d return to or recommend.
