Ambience is fun, didn’t know this was a Mexican restaurant as the sign isn’t noticeable coming east or west on State St. Service was great, food was hot and delicious. Will definitely come back. The starter salsa was spicy which we like and the bean dip was amazing. I’ve never had the mushroom garnish before. Got the flautas for the kids, the tortillas are cooked perfectly and it was buttery and delicious. Also the Machaca con huevos was so good and made great leftovers as I ate too much bean dip as always.

This place is bomb. I really liked the architecture of the building inside and out it was very unique. The food was absolutely amazing definitely the best in the valley in my opinion. 1st time at this restaurant. It came highly and exceptionally recommended by my friend who is a cook there. I ordered Tio’s Platter. WOW! Lots of food! Superbly authentic and delicious! I have absolutely zero complaints about the food, the friendly and attentive waitresses, the cooks, and the atmosphere. Really good spot here in Star! Took a while to get around to try this spot out and I’ve already gone two more times since then! The Crazy Platter (I think that’s the name of it) was really good and a great mix of food to try. Tried chicken, asada, ground beef and carnitas and by far my favorite is the carnitas! Really good flavor and super juicy.
