Consistently good. Ive eaten at every Mexican restaurant in town, and sometimes they’re good and sometimes they’re mediocre. El Mariachi is consistently very good, even when I order something new. Nothing is worse than getting something and it not being as good as last time, but not here!

Quaint little “hole in the wall” that is a gem!! I’m very picky about my Latin food and this was spot on. The tamale tasted just like my grandma’s and the staff was very kind and welcoming! Prices were amazing for thr amount and quality of food! My husband and I each had enough for 2 meals and we both got the lunch special! Would absolutely recommend and will for sure be back!

OMG…we have found our Mexican Restaurant! We moved to Indy a year ago. The food is amazing.. authentic Mexican food. This is truly a hidden gem. It is not Texmex. Pitcher of margaritas is Cheap!@!

Perfect slice of authenticity. Chiles torreados, choriqueso, y habanero salsa. Thoroughly enjoyed grazing on these items in this quaint establishment. Prices were reasonable. Service was great and amenable. Recommend for families or alone. Small location but lots of charm and delicious food to supplement.

I’ve lived in Greenfield for several years and this is by far the worst Mexican food in town. I’ve tried eating here 3 times now, each time reminded why I don’t… It all feels rewarmed and nothing really feels or tastes fresh. As if all other Mexican restaurants sent their leftovers here to be recooked/resold. Not that that is the case, it’s just very low quality In my opinion.
The fact there are so many five star reviews really blows my mind with how low of standards people’s palate must be.

The service was good but the food taste was terrible and didn’t taste good at all. Couldn’t finish my Chimichanga. Even the sauce with starter tortilla chips seemed stale. Won’t recommend this place! Maybe the drinks are better but didn’t try that.

We have been going to this place for about a year. Never had a problem. It’s quick place to eat. This weekend we ordered white cheese sauce for something different. Husband and I both got violently sick. We order the same thing each week but convinced the cheese sauce was bad. The older gentleman is always so nice, smelled bad BO. I hope this place isn’t slipping as I like small in town business. Unfortunately, we won’t be going back. You never forget the food poisoning.

Delicious food and drinks that are reasonably priced, and the service is simply the best I have had in several months. Very simple printed menu & I don’t need to pay the higher prices charged by so many restaurants today with slickly printed menus—when the food and drinks are what I’m interested in. I will be coming back here for great food, drinks and service each time!
