Pleasant surprise. The staff was attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. The guacamole had great flavor. Can’t wait to go again.

El Mariachi was a nice surprise. We sprung a group of 13 on them and they were happy to start their day with us! The portions were big, service was a little slow but servers were very nice. The food was great, drinks nice and strong, colorful interior and overall great experience. Small place but would go back if in the area again!

Husband and son ordered the lechon asado. They loved it!! I had the grilled chicken which was very good. The beans and maduros (yellow plantains) that comes with were delicious as well. Grandkids had tacos & ropa vieja (not pictured). They liked them too.
Portions are pretty good. Had a bit of leftovers. Service was good and attentive. Oh, and the chips and salsa they give you were very good and fresh!
100% recommend for both Mexican and Cuban dishes!

It was our first time here and the last unfortunately.
The positives are the host and server was nice and the restaurant was pretty. The chips and salsa and the appetizer empanadas were good.
The chimichanga and Cuban sandwich were not good however. They looked nice on the plate, but they did not taste as nice.
The chimichanga was not crispy on the outside and the shredded chicken was very salty on the inside. I took two bites and asked for a to-go box. The rice had no flavor and was dry, in addition to the guacamole tasting rotten. The refried beans were okay, but salty as well.
Now my husband thought it was safe to get the Cuban sandwich but the meat was sparse with one piece of ham folded over with very little dry pork. It was mostly bread. The fries were good.
We hadn’t been out in a while, so we were very disappointed and a waste of money with everything being so expensive in our day and age.
Do not recommend.

We have eaten at El Mariachi restaurant on a regular basis for many years. El Mariachi is a small storefront restaurant with additional seating outdoors on the sidewalk. We used those outdoor tables many times during the pandemic. Today we ate inside. The food is consistently good, service is reliable and efficient and atmosphere is clean and modern. The restaurant was remodeled in recent times. We have noticed that the prices have risen steadily in these inflationary times. We usually order our basic favorites, the original burrito and quesadilla meals, which save over more expensive choices on the menu. Another way to save is through the loyalty program, which automatically racks up credits based on my credit card number. Before long, I’ll have enough credits for another meal on my points.

El Mariachi Restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant that began in Coral Springs in 1993 serving Mexican and Spanish food. They were so popular that they expanded to this second location in Coral Springs on Wiles. I previously enjoyed dinner at their restaurant located in the Coral Palm Plaza on University Drive.
My girlfriend and I met up for a mid week dinner at El Mariachi. I had previously spotted it tucked into the corner during one of many shopping trips to the plaza and I always wanted to try it.
This location is smaller than the first one but I think it just makes it cozier. They have booths and tables running down the center and a few more tables out front. There is a small bar area in the rear of the restaurant. I really like the painted murals on the wall.
Our server and bartender was Otto. We started out meal with the yummy complimentary chips and mild and hot salsa. Fortunately we made it in time for the happy hour $5 house margarita. Have Otto make your margarita and you will not be disappointed. Best $5 margarita I ever had. For dinner I ordered the beef chimichanga. They serve them here with rice, beans, sour cream, and guac. After filling up on chips it was more than I could finish. My friend and I both really enjoyed everything at El Mariachi. If you love Mexican food as much as we do, you won’t want to pass up this local gem.

Wow! What an incredible experience as always. I am so grateful to have this place in our community. I had the Mahi Mahi dish with boiled yucca. It came with a side of white rice and black beans. Delicious!

While it may lean towards the pricier side, let me assure you, the experience is well worth it!
