Johnny is the best waiter in the place. Their food is delicious. Johnny’s service is great. He constantly checks on table. You don’t want for anthing. There is always Spanish music playing. The drinks are large and inexpensive. We eat there once a week. They just added a patio for when the weather is cooler. Price is reasonable.

I got the steak quesadilla and it was drowning in grease. The steak wasn’t even seasoned and even with salt and pepper that I added, it was gross. The service is okay, food came out at a decent rate, not that the food was necessarily worth it. Great portion sizes (if you eat a lot or want to take some home). It took them around 10 minutes to come and give our table a refill on the drinks.

The place itself is quite large, on the outside it has a very good appearance and inside the decoration gives an authentic mexican restaurant experience. Food and service were great, Johnny my server did a good job.

In my opinion El Mariachi is the most authentic and best Mexican restaurant in picayune and the surrounding area. The food is great and the staff is top notch. My kids love this place because the the interaction from the waiters and waitresses. Whenever we have family in town this is our place! If your in picayune and looking for a family restaurant worth the buck go to El Mariachi!!!
