Honest opinion, the food here is 8 1/2 out of 10. it’s really good, but not quite moms cooking, IMO. if you speak English do not order on the phone they struggle with English! I don’t speak much Spanish, but I try because it’s one of the only Spanish food places that deliver. also you have to order 3 different things to make a order it’s weird IMO and to be honest I haven’t been there iv only ordered on the phone I need to make a trip and check it out but for now this is my opinion

Small spot in downtown Meriden close to court, YMCA… the food here is amazing! I had the ‘Mofongo with beef’ I was blown away… the taste was excellent. I will definitely be going back here to try other dishes. The server/cook is super nice and friendly.

I have to give this place one star and it sucks because I love their food but the customer service is absolutely awful, the lady that answers the phone is so rude and dismissive. I shouldn’t feel like I’m asking you for a favor when I am paying for a service, I understand people have bad days but this is the 2nd time it happens where she hangs up on mid sentence like I am bothering her, in person is not any better, there’s been times go in to order and she’s heavy breathing like me placing an order is inconveniencing her. I will not be returning to this establishment because I deserve to be treated better than that. Whoever the owner of this establishment is, please train your staff to give good customer service to everyone.

Listen, I new to Meriden I’m around for work and let me tell you. I was driving to go across the street because I was told the place was the closest spot around. I saw my flag and I had to spot and look at the menu outside when I was greeted by the gentleman. Took a look at the menu and immediately began to place an order. I will be spending a majority of my lunches at this place.
Si te digo cuánto yo dure buscando un lugar come este. Hay mucho restaurantes Dominicano pero no todo te hacen compra un vuelvo depues que te comiste un chimmy. Ya hablé. Vayan atento mi.
