This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. Service, terrible. After not getting check on for the whole meal and getting our own to-go box, we almost got up and wrote our own check. Food terrible. Chips tasted like they were cooked in months old oil, salsa extremely watered down and strangely minty. Entrees were definitely not up to par, mine upset my stomach immediately. We will never be going back to this location at least. Like others have said, I wish there was an option to put 0 stars.

Our server was great, he was very attentive to our needs, and even offered us drinks to go while we packed up our Togo boxes. The food was fantastic and very well priced. El Mag, we will definitely be returning again in the future.

Just wow! I would say I could keep reading and eating and eating. Some of the best Mexican food I think I’ve ever had. Waiter was a great time keeping us hydrated and asking if we needed anything.

We’ve been here twice and both times we got seated within 5minutes, server was attentive, food came out fast and orders were perfectly correct. Would definitely recommend based on those experiences.

Ok, I’m not big on Mexican Food. But I have to admit this restaurant El Maguey has taken Mexican cuisine to Another Level. I tried the chicken with some mushrooms, with this delicious cheese and grilled veggies. The dish came with a side of rice, three tortilla soft shells, That was so good and tasty. A side of guacamole mix with grilled onions and peppers. I didn’t know I was eating Mexican rice. It tasted more like a South American rice-dish. Very flavorful!! I suggest you try it. Once again, I’m not big on names and things of that nature but if you look on the menu you’ll find. On top of everything they get this wonderful, queso cheese that they put on top of the chicken that is grilled to perfection and absolutely mouthwatering. I’m not gonna lie. I’m a eat there for dinner. Enjoy!

Tonight our server accidentally picked up my plate after giving me a to go box for my leftovers. She had the kitchen make me another whole meal to take home and threw in chips and salsa also. This is our go to Mexican spot and we are so happy to have it in our home town. KUDOS EL MAGUAY!!!
