Usually really have a good experience here but tonight i got a completely different kind of tacos then I ordered. I got street tacos and got tacos on flour tortillas it looks like and topped with melted cheese and lettuce? Idk why i got completely different food but its extremely frustrating. Should have been corn tortillas steak onions and cilantro.

My sister and I split the El Toreado. I will have to say it was the best I have had. The waiter was super nice and made a special Margarita that tasted like a top shelf, but for the price of a regular. I would definitely recommend this place.

VERY disappointed!! This is the only Mexican restaurant we go to in Wentzville, and we’ve always loved it..now I don’t think I’ll be back! We dined in Wednesday night and paid our bill, when I checked my bank statement, it was charged $50, instead of $40 that I spent. I called and they offered a $10 refund, all good…mistakes happen…well, come to find out, the SERVER added a “1” in front of my tip and changed my total of $40 to $49…now THAT really made me angry and I can’t trust it to not happen again, so make sure ya check your transactions at this location. Unacceptable!!

We absolutely love el maguey however we usually go to the lake saint Louis one. Unfortunately the food here did not compare. There was something off about all of it. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad per se, just not as good as we would expect from an el maguey.

Service was excellent, unfortunately I did not get our Waiter’s name, but he was spot on! I got the Pollo Feliz (which I always order) the chicken was pounded flat as a pancake, so the chicken was dry, other than that our dinner was good.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent people. Especially welcoming for us as we tend to dine in late, but we try not to abuse it and be out by close. They know our order by the time we walk in at this point, one of the best restaurants in the chain! Absolutely one of the best places to take family and friends, they are extremely accommodating!

No flavor,I told my partner I’m like let’s order fajitas maguey that had chorizo I’m because I bet it won’t have flavor and bingo the meat had no flavor,the good thing is that we ordered with chorizo.
