Best Mexican food I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying in Montgomery County. The guacamole is UNREAL. Their tacos and tostadas were delightful and loaded with flavor. The Al Pastor taco and the Shrimp Tostada were my favorites. And, the complimentary margaritas were the perfect accompaniment to our meal!!!!
Please note, for dine-in service their dining room is small, with less than a dozen tables (no booths). Plan a visit accordingly, as I would suggest calling ahead to see how busy they are for a large group. For couples up to groups of four, I would just use common sense judgement as far as typical peak restaurant times on Friday & Saturday evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We placed an order for pick up and both burritos were made wrong, the quac was missing and the fajitas lacked the tortillas. When my husband called they gave him a hard time and basically said he was lying so he asked for a manager and they still gave him a hard time. We loved going here, once a week in the summer but will not be returning due to the downfall of their customer service and the way they treated us when they messed up our order.

This visit I chose to sit outdoors in the evening. The restaurant is small peaceful, the kitchen was very clean and orderly and for a small kitchen that’s pretty good. A small yet spacious room for seating indoors, as well as a covered wraparound deck that adds a very nice comfortable place for couples to sit for dinner and conversation. plenty of parking, a large clean unisex bathroom, fast and polite service, a very moderately priced menu and the food is delicious! On Friday’s the margaritas are complementary and feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverage because this is a BYOB restaurant. A very enjoyable night out dining that is very friendly on your wallet. They are only open just less than a year and I have to say everything was fantastic. definitely worth a stop for some nice Mexican food.

I would give them five stars because the food is top notch, but the prices keep going up and up and it’s getting ridiculous. I remember when a taco from El Limon was $2. They’re now double that. $4 for ONE teeny, tiny taco. Two of us used to be able to eat at El Limon for about $25-$30…now it’s $20 a person. Super disappointing. This was our go to place, not anymore.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, warm n inviting. Everyone was friendly and relaxed tho we showed up at the end of the night. We were made to feel welcome and not rushed at all. Love the vibes. The food was by far the best yet we’ve found in the area. Fresh and full of flavor. New go to. Love the chill outdoor dining area. BYOB

Place was busy! Isn’t that a good sign though? Kid got the shrimp tacos with red sauce (loved them), wife got the tortilla salad with tinga. I got a burrito with mole sauce. We got the churros for dessert. Everything was wonderful! Red sauce was spicy as was the mole sauce.
Picture is of the Al Pastor Burrito with mole sauce.

The food was excellent—very fresh and delicious. The cooks did a great job. However, the cashier seemed to be in a terrible mood. When I told her I wanted to place a takeout order for one burrito, she looked at me like it was a huge inconvenience. They weren’t even busy—just two tables outside—so it didn’t seem like she was overwhelmed, just uninterested or unhappy to help.
