Service has gone way down here; used to be the go to place for Mexican food. The past couple times we have been, we have gotten our food at different times. One person is almost done with their meal before another gets theirs. Waited behind someone at their pick up window that had just placed their order for over 10 minutes; then had to wait another three minutes for someone to ask me what my order was after they charges my card. My food was cold by the time I got it and they always forget something in pick up orders. Won’t be going back here anytime in the future.

Man, this is our favorite restaurant in Thomson! My kids live the place so much! The food is hot, fresh, and flavorful. The cheese dip is so addictive but delicious and worth every penny. I love that the salsa has onions and cilantro in it as well. There is a small bar area and patio seating as well.

My wonderful friend decided to take me to lunch yesterday. We both wanted go to a place we never been before so we went to Thomason. We ended up going to El Kiosco. To start off the service was good the waitress came and asked us what we wanted right after we sat down. We both ordered a water and it was terrible tasted like lead. So she asked for a sprite and I got a margarita. She took our order after we asked for new drinks. 5 mins go by and I get my margarita. My friend still waiting on her sprite. Bout 10 minutes go by and the waitress brings our food (still no sprite) we ask again for the sprite and they finally bring it. When it was time to pay we had to stand up and tell the waitress we wanted to pay. We will never go here again. The only good thing was the margarita I had was so strong.

This place used to have the best Mexican food in Thomson…now the food is terrible. Comes out cold and the prices went up. Will not be back. Oh by the way the salsa tasted like ragu spaghetti sauce. Go to Viva Villa instead

There was a small inches worm in my margarita . After it took 18 mins be waited on. Being the ladies would not even speak to me being. A female. The guy finally ask to help . Brought drinks, one had some in it . We dug it out was a worm. Order simple food plate. It was cold. Ask to ticket. It took 19 mins for them bring me a ticket . They was not even busy. Very disappointed . No way old owner would allow this behavior go on.

Food is great for the area its located. Thompson doesn’t have many options but this could become a tradition place to eat. Oh there is one Spanish lady who doesn’t understand what cheese dip is, so don’t expect her to come back with it lol

If you like bland Mexican food it’s for you. Seats are worn out and lumpy and menus are torn and worn out. Salsa was watery and cheaply made.

When you are seated to a table with almost empty salt and pepper shakers in the middle of the table… it shows that the staff do not care about the customer experience. The menus were threadbare and looked as if they should have been retired 20 years ago. They did a very poor job of upgrading the prices of all items instead of just replacing them. Portions were of a good size, but the meat was dry and unattractive. It felt like a not so cheap fast food place that sat diners.
