The food here is SO GOOD!!! Service is great too, very friendly! We got the El Kapitan burrito and ceviche. The meat in the burrito was so tender and the ceviche tasted super fresh! Would definitely reccommend checking them out and I’m looking forward to coming back soon 🙂

Oh my god so good. I got the mole tacos and the elote. Dorado across the street is lucky they dont serve alcohol or they’d put them out of business. Amazing food.

Had veggie tacos, like the flavor but all of it was COLD, on winter day cold dinner is what we had in mind. Only two choices for vegetarian. Both dishes were cold. 2nd dish with Tofu blocks had no flavor n rice was served from insta pot just luck warm. Just be warned of cold food

This place was even better than anticipated! Good service and great flavor! We started with the shrimp ceviche (there is a vegan ceviche option as well) and then got the steak tacos and enchiladas. I will definitely be coming back here. I haven’t had food that felt this authentic in a long time

My wife liked the look of this place, noticed they had carne asada and thought of me. So we dropped in: good recommendation. It’s the best carne asada I’ve had this side of LA. She had a vegan tofu that she liked as well. One of the culinary highlights of our trip to Rochester.

Have had El Kapitan’s food from their food truck and enjoyed it and their new restaurant did not disappoint! I love their mole sauce and it tasted great on enchiladas. Their churro sundae dessert was delicious as well. The food was out quickly and great vibe. We are excited to go back!

We tried El Kapitan for the first time and really enjoyed the whole experience. The service was excellent, we met the owner and had some good conversations about how passionate they are to share their culture through food. We are vegetarian, so we tried their veggie tacos and all the flavors you would want in a taco were there. Their horchata was delicious too. Highly recommend and would return!

The tacos were awesome. The mole nachos were incredible! One of the best deals around for buy 3 get 1 free tacos on Tuesdays. The staff was extremely kind and you could tell they cared about their customers. Can’t recommend this place enough!
