Stopped here for lunch, and I’m so happy I did!!!! The food was AMAZING!!! I had the lunch chimicganga & the hubs had the carne asada both were perfection chef’s kiss. Reasonable price, too. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area. Must try No leftovers. If I could’ve eaten the plate, I would. Lol

Absolutely the best Mexican food we have had in awhile. We travel a lot and go to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one is hands down the best we’ve had in a long time. Excellent service as well. We had the taco, 2 enchilada combo and the Burrito California. Both amazing. Their salsa comes out warm and spicy, perfect! Definitely going to return while we are here!

The food and wait service were great but it’s tough to get a table. It was very crowded indoors. They have outdoor seating but it was cold and wet that particular day. They may need additional staff because it took almost 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge me when I arrived and waited to be seated.

The place is not that big but inside is simple and well decorated as aunthentic mexican place.

The waiter accomodated my request to have shrimp on my tacos instead of meat.

We ordered mini tacos and costillos asadas. The were all seasoned very well. It hit the spots we were craving.
This will be our favorite little aunthentic mexican restaurant to visit whenever we will crave mexican food.

The food was pretty good. I ordered the chimichanga, ground beef. This tends to be my measuring stick for Mexican food.
I’m new to Houston, should I expect everything to be Tex Mex? Wasn’t very Mexican authentic.
Service was good, I’m not sure if I would give the food rave reviews. Portions were pretty big.
I could be back to try something new. I’ll keep you posted.

Wow!!!! This is a wonderful establishment! Jose treated us like we are FAMILY, as if we’ve known him for years!!! The food was absolutely incredible—by far the best Mexican food in Kingwood, hands down!!! Everything from the service to the flavors was top-notch. I will definitely be a regular!!! Highly recommend! AND THEY HAVE HAPPY HOUR!!!!
