I ordered the Mocajete as a freind suggested. Basically a giant make your own fajita with ribeye, pork, chicken and all kinds of stuff served in a mortar/pestle type bowl with a side of everything you could want… rice,beans, sour cream etc. You don’t have to v make wraps with it, but they come with it. It was around $40, but I couldn’t come close to finishing it and I eat a lot… easily good for 2.

Got the veggie fajitas and the veggie taquitos to share. We got a ton of food for a good price! Good chips and salsa (included). The guac was also tasty! Highly recommend the margaritas there! We shared one and it was perfect for two people.
Excellent service and we were able to eat vegan here pretty easily! Glad we stopped by here for a quick bite on the way back from skiing!

I met my friend for dinner at El Jimador. I’ve been there a couple of times. We went last night and I had some leftovers. I definitely always take my leftovers because they’re so delicious and I can heat them up with a fried egg for breakfast if I want to Lol. AnyWho, I realized as I was getting near the front door I probably should have a bag to put my large container and two smaller containers into so I asked a man standing there if he had a bag. He not only got me my bag. He took the time to go over to the desk carefully, place my larger container in then the other two containers and then he took his time to make sure it was tied correctly, and that the handles were good for me to be able to carry it out. All done with a smile and he was happy to do it. He’s officially adorable and I will continue to go there because I appreciate people who appreciate me.

Visited on Cinco de Mayo. Fantastic experience! A little bit of a wait as it was very busy, so I got a drink from the bar. I couldn’t believe how quickly we were served and bartender was very friendly. Atmosphere was fun and upbeat, good music and free gifts were handed out (t shirts, coozies, etc) when we sat down we were immediately greeted with chips and salsa. Our server was Jordan, and let me tell you he provided the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Knowledgeable about the menu and patient. We got a Mocahete- it was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. Came out steaming, quite an experience! It’s my go to dish at restaurants because it’s essentially a bit of everything. I also got a spicy watermelon margarita- phenomenal. Overall my fiance and I both agreed it was one of our best restaurant experiences and hands down the best Cinco de Mayo we ever had! Thank you to every member of the staff, the food came out quick and everyone was genuinely friendly!

I don’t know how they only have 4.5. This is the most consistent Mexican in the Lakes Region. I have never walked out of there thinking they must have had a new cook or something like that. It’s pretty much the same menu you’ll see everywhere and they do it well. Staff is friendly, food comes out fast, hot and tasty. It’s 5 stars all-day every day. Oh and the El Molcajete can feed 2 people for 2 days. My wife and I come for the big margaritas, stay for the food!

The food was excellent. Fresh and tasty. The bartender was friendly, attentive and helpful. The (missing?)host was nowhere to be found for a few minutes or so. We called out and got no reply. So that could be improved upon, to be sure.
Otherwise, we had delicious food from a large menu of offerings. The bartender definitely made a big difference on our visit, and on our impression of El Jimador.

Our first time here blew us out of the water. The service was incredible. Huge menu and plenty of options for both food and drinks. Prices were great and couldn’t not find one thing to complain about. We got the appetizer sampler along with 2 grilled chicken salads. Can’t wait to go back and try other options they have. Chicken wings were some of the best we have ever had and the other sampler options were amazing. Highly reccoment if your in the area.

Travellers, this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that has a lively, cheery atmosphere and great service with a smile. And the food was great too. The menu has a nice selection of options from which to choose. Everything was delicious but the mole sauce is special and well done. There is a nice drink menu too. This is a nice place for a large gathering or a party and there is plenty of room to accommodate large groups too. It doesn’t seem to be a problem at all. Check it out. We recommend.
