Good food for an upscale Mexican fast food, not like taco bell slop. The service was great with no self serve kiosk in sight. Several delivery pickups coming through while we were there. Popular local place

I seriously can not say enough good things about this spot. Bring a friend, grab a plate of nachos, add a second meat, you will NOT be disappointed. My favorite way to do it is carne asada and pastor. Soooo much deliciousness in every bite. I’m still making my way around the menu but every single thing I’ve tried so far has been fantastic. Customer service is amazing here. It’s always clean and food comes out quick, and very fresh. Thank you guys for all you do!!! I will keep coming back and I will keep inviting people to come with me!!! ☺️

Great, authentic Mexican food! My bf loves his birria tacos and my nachos were amazing. The only thing was the tables were a little loud with the big font in your face but it’s not about the interior, it’s about the food. Will definitely be coming back!

I recently visited El Jefe and had a pretty solid experience overall. The food is both tasty and affordable, which is a nice combo. They offer a variety of salsas, including aguacate, habanero, and a few others that really added some nice layers of flavor to the meal.

The flavor of the meat was definitely a highlight. The birria stood out as my favorite—rich and flavorful. The al pastor had a good seasoning, though I found it a bit stringy in texture. The sope was a little on the firmer side, perhaps fried a touch longer than needed, but that could be the style they’re going for.

The place itself is cozy, clean, and the staff is friendly, making for a pleasant atmosphere. I also like the branding and logo—looks sharp.

Overall, a great spot for decent food at unbeatable prices. Definitely worth a visit!

Ordered take out for the crew. The birria was good. And my coworkers liked it a lot. The only thing that really bothered me was the burrito, there was only like 2 bites of meat at the top of the burrito mixed with some sauce. The whole rest of the burrito was just rice all the way through. I’m talking like 3/4 of the burrito was just total and complete disappointment. Everything else was great though. I definitely recommend the pineapple agua fresca, super delicious.

This place is the best birria tacos I have eaten! I love their menu variety and their food is always fresh! The people here are so pleasant and always is happy to serve you. They really know how to put customer service in great words. Their cashier I think her name is Lucy is always smiling and always helpful she is the nicest lady I like to talk to. The guys that make these tacos or nachos or the birria have so much flavor! I’m telling you that you try one time you will get addicted.

Worst wet burrito I’ve had since Seattle Mexican food first try here never again. Water on it with sauce for 14$ dollars it’s hard to eat. Rico taco up the street has one 11 dollars that is amazing been going ten years. This is a 1 out of 10 it’s forth 5$ under Taco Bell.

Good food, but a tad on the pricier side ($2.25 for a single street taco). & They steam their tortillas instead of grilling them, so the tacos are kind of soggy…

It is a clean store & the restroom is well maintained. The staff is polite & efficient, but nothing over-average. Overall, it’s a decent place to grab some decent food with friends.

I ordered the Quesábirria, a 12 oz Consommé 12oz and Guacamole. SOOO GOOD! You get 4 nice pieces of the Quesábirria. It was very tasty! The Consommé 12oz was flavorful and the guac was AMAZING! When I come to town again, I will order from here! Also fast delivery from DoorDash!
