Enjoyed this newer restaurant several times. Easy access off 270/Dorsett Rd. Good parking. Family/locally owned. We ve enjoyed a variety of tacos and other dishes. Photo shows our feast last Friday including tacos and Birra Ramen. Soooooo good! Support local, enjoy!

The black beans, rice, and fresh toppings in the bowl were perfectly seasoned, and the birria quesadillas were packed with flavor and came with tasty salsas and consommé. I went in with my two young children (2 and 10 months). We got the protein bowl to share and it was perfect! I was able to customize it so that both my kids would enjoy it and the serving was SO BIG! Plenty of food for all three of us. The owner was there and was super patient with my rowdy two year old. The place is nice with a great selection of authentic food and friendly staff. Definitely worth the trip up there from Byrnes Mill!

The reasonably priced taco lunch special was excellent, and is definitely a steal if you prefer steak over chicken, though both were good. The house made salsa was delicious as well, though I expected more spice from the Roja. Definitely the right level for many folks though.
I did not venture into the more exotic options, but they offer lengua and other specialty cuts.
Worth checking out if you love no frills Mexican food!

Highly recommend this place! The people that work here are great, and the food comes out pretty quick! My husband and I eat here regularly. We recommend the birria tacos with either the avocado or verde salsa! The complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in are an added bonus!

Food was delicious (we tried al pastor tacos, birria quesadilla, and the asada fries) and tasted perfect. We talked a bit with the owner’s mom and it’s clear that they take pride in their quality in every aspect from product to service to atmosphere for their guests. Was actively texting my friends to come try it while eating and I can’t wait to come by and try some more. Also love that you have nopales options – that’s so rare!!!
