First time to this location, long time visitor of their Rome location. Right next to the office, and happy hour margaritas made El Jarocha of Rome popular so we had to give this one a try with the family. Same large menu, same good food. It feels authentic and the prices are reasonable. You always start with chips & salsa as soon as you sit down and that always makes for a better experience. I got a chicken taco salad and it was tasty, I’ll be visiting again when it gets warmer out

This is hands-down the BEST Mexican food in the Utica area. The murals of the wall are beautiful and the food was excellent. They also take substitutions and special requests, so I was able to accommodate for my meal to my liking. The place also plays real Mexican music and the decorations are very pretty. They are also well priced.

Noticeable atmosphere updated from the prior establishment. Owner/ server was very professional and friendly service. Sizzling plate of pollo fundido had great presentation, however preferred with more flavor/ cheese.

Very disappointed with this place. The salsa really is just canned tomato sauce with some cilantro in it as another reviewer said. It was so bizarre.

The food was over fried and greasy where applicable, bland otherwise. Cheaply made with obviously cheap ingredients. Chicken in a quesadilla was watery as another reviewer said as well. I normally think other reviewers are whinier or more exacting than I would be but the bad reviews of this place are spot on unfortunately.

Had to pull someone aside to get a single drink refill. The people were polite though and the atmosphere is fine. Wasn’t offered a booster seat so I hunted one down myself, and my preference on the chimichanga I ordered was ignored.

We ordered takeout. We ordered the chicken burritos served with rice and beans and this is what we got. I thought the rice and beans would be a separate dish, but all we got was two Skimpy little burritos with chicken, a few beans and about seven grains of rice inside. It look like they put this burrito together in the dark. It made both my husband and I sick, not that we were able to finish eating it. It tasted disgusting.

The restaurant was beautifully remodeled and decorated after purchasing from the prior owner. Music was excellent but not too loud, which I greatly appreciated. I ordered the Texano burrito and it was amazing. It was huge — stuffed with chicken, beef, shrimp, rice, peppers, onions, beans, pico and smotherd in queso while topped with fresh slices of a whole avocado. HIGHLY recommend. The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and accomodating. I will defintely be going back soon!

I was definitely sad to see Pedro’s was gone. I have visited the location in Rome first and liked it a lot, so we decided to try it. We went there at lunch time, so there weren’t a lot of patrons at the time. We had fast friendly service, food was delicious and the price was definitely fair. I will be going back

My wife and I were very excited to try this place and were thoroughly disappointed. The food we ordered for takeout was ice cold and flavorless. The chips were stale, guacamole had little flavor, and the salsa tasted more like marinara sauce than salsa. We each ordered a burrito and had to throw them out due to poor quality and lack of flavor. We will definitely not be eating food from here again.

The food was pretty good. The server was excellent. My feedback is that first, if you’re going to charge 3% for using a Credit Card, STATE THAT on the bill or the menu. I specifically bring cash to restaurants for that reason. The bill did not state that, so I used my CC and once the final copy to sign came out, it showed the 3% fee. That’s very deceiving to your customers. Also, the pictures on the menu are not at all what the served food comes to the table as; ie Beans in a bowl with the children’s Quesadilla.
