My first time dining at El Jaripeo was terrific! I was very impressed by the staff immediately and felt very welcome. My server Gustavo was exceptional and made sure that everything was perfect. I had the burrito roqueta…another first…it was delicious!

Came to check out the buffet with some friends. They have a nice selection of foods to try. The wings, nice little mild spice to them, pretty good. I tried as much as I could but didn’t get to try everything. The green avocado sauce ended up being my go to. I stayed away from the ground beef, it just didn’t look too appealing.

First off, I have to say that going to a Mex Restaurant on Cinco de Mayo is probably a huge mistake and an adventure all in one. This was the case at El Jaripeo. It was crazy busy. I stood in line just to give our party name to get seated and the line just wasn’t moving. I believe the hostess was just not managing the queue well. We did decide to stay and were seated probably with 15 minutes. I am attributing the slow service for ordering to our waiter saying he was new. But knowing that restaurants are short staffed and since we were seated and ready to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming bridal shower, we were able to work with our “new” waiter, ordered, and our food actually came out pretty quick. So, note to self and other diners…just have some grace when going out to eat. People who work at these places are just like us, facing the same challenges, and at the end of the day, we can give a little. The food was actually pretty good and I don’t drink, but the folks in my party who do drink enjoyed the Margarita’s that they ordered. To sum this up, we had a good time!

Every time we order from here through Uber Eats they never read the order notes. Order is never correct. We ordered 10 Mexican tacos and got just tortillas with chicken. Nothing else in it and then got a random large thing of cheese. Very weird. No limes, no cilantro, no onions. So tacos were dry and flavorless. Don’t recommend getting food delivered from here.

I was impressed the minute I walked into the restaurant. Their booths are so cool. We were greeted right away. Part of our party was still coming, and they took our drink order right away. The food was very delicious and my husband’s order was too large and we took it home. The leftovers were so delicious as I took them to work. I definitely recommend El Jaripeo.

It was my mom’s birthday and they brought it the Sombrero and sang to her. It was a great experience and very friendly staff. Will go back again.

The service was excellent. Very friendly and constantly checking to see if we needed anything while we were waiting for friends. Refried beans looked & tasted differently than before, and me and others definitely do not like the new ones they’re now using. Also, I appreciate the fact that they keep the place clean, but they need to use something other than the strong Fabuloso cleaning product when wiping down tables next to where people are still eating while open. It is very strong and unappetizing, ruining the meal. Maybe use it once closed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy eating here, and 2 for 1 margaritas are always a good thing!

Food taste pretty good but they are skimpy on the rice and beans, it’s the cheapest part of the meal and you get very little.
