Been here several times with friends who call this their favorite Mexican place.
I would consider the food to be standard quality for Tex-Mex places.
What really stands out though is the service. The family that owns this location has a passion for making people happy. You can see it in every detail of how they interact with those that come in.

So their spicy salsa is alright in heat. Like maybe 1/8 of a mid jalapeno. But, you can ask for salsa verde which is actually a mid jalapeno in terms of heat.
They also make their chips crispy, so that’s a big W in my books. Beside that, the food was your standard affair. It’s basically what you could expect from most Mexican places. During lunch time Monday-Friday, they have $1.50 9oz margs so you can go crazy. The service at this place is great too. Tbh they’d be 4 stars with that service, chips, and salsa but that’s what edges them out for me vs. their Mexican restaurant contemporaries.

The owner is funny and really nice. The servers are polite and attentive. Food came out quickly, generous portions, and tasty. Ask for the spicy salsa. The mild is basically ketchup. If you mix the two, it is tasty without burning bad. Plenty of space for parties of over 5 people.

Pretty good Mexican place. They get a couple of stars just for having eggs (huevos a la mexicana) on the lunch menu. The salsa verde (you have to ask for it) is really good, the salsa that they bring with chips is just ok. Service was good, no complaints really. Nice place, I’ll come back

I ordered 4 enchilada’s to go…. 2 chicken, 1 beef and 1 cheese. What a disappointment getting home, looking at 4 enchilada’s wrapped in corn tortilla, sauce and.maybe some cheese.
That’s it, no tomatoes, lettuce, onion, sour cream or guacamole…… not even some extra cheese sprinkled on top. 1/2 a bag of chips and small container of salsa. Sooo boring and bland.
For 16.50 would have had better food at Taco Bell.

Just came to this establishment on 5/5/25 (Cinco De Mayo) at 8:05pm. The restaurant was full (obviously) for the holiday, however a table for 8 was open.
We were the only ones waiting in lobby, then a lady waitress asked us how many and I said 4. She motioned for us to sit at the table open and we did. About 30 seconds later another server asked us if we have 5 people while seated and I said ‘no just 4’. He immediately said that we couldn’t sit there. I said ‘sir your worker just told us to sit here’, he said ‘well you cannot. I was shocked and then stood up with my family, being slightly embarrassed by being told we couldn’t sit there, and walked out.
Will never return.

In 1993 this place was ok. Now it is an absolute joke. Terrible food, mediocre service, and get ready for the slowest human on Earth to make you stand in line for ten minutes because the waiters are apparently too busy to settle your tab, even when the place is empty.

I absolutely love this place. The food is great but the customer service is out of this world! The staff treats you like you’re old friends (even from my first visit) and go above and beyond to make sure that you have a pleasant experience. I cant say enough good things about this place. My first experience with them was a togo order that my husband picked up and it was missing an item (luckily we live very close) usually this would have been a deal breaker for me but between the taste of the food and the AMAZING care they showed to make things right we were hooked. The next time we dined in and our waiter was so wonderful that we decided that we would dine in from now on because we love the atmosphere so much.
