we came in for a quick lunch and split a plate of grilled chicken enchiladas. the meal was delicious. chicken was tender and juicy.
i’m knocking down one star because the menu was a little sticky as well as the table, despite looking clean. our server was friendly and great though. the restaurant itself was very open and welcoming.
my experience wouldn’t deter me from coming back though.

First of all, walking in, we were treated very well. Attentive, fast service. Our server checked in on us the perfect amount. The food came out fast, hot, and correct.
Everything was delicious. I got the carnitas with green sauce (carnitas con salsa verde) and it was excellent. The environment is lovely, and they had some banging dance tracks from the 80s-90s playing. Idk about live events, but during our visit, the house music was at a good volume and everyone at the table could hear each other without yelling. Highly recommend for a meal with family.

We were met by a bald gentleman, I believe the manager, with what can only be described as a scowl when we entered at 7:55 PM – an hour and 5 minutes before the stated closing time. With a dead face he stared at us, expecting us to initiate a greeting. He eventually broke the silence and asked “2?”.
He then pointed us to a booth near the entrance and bar – not nestled into the restaurant to enjoy the ambiance. We asked if we could have a booth on the interior row and we were told those were closed.
We were then greeted by a nice gentleman who was our waiter – on his third trip back to check in on us – he warned us the kitchen would be closing in 5 minutes. I believe it was shortly after 8:05 PM at that point.
Fast forward. Lukewarm food but tasty. We asked for our check over the racket of the entire placed being stripped downed and cleaned. Before the waiter came back to charge the bill, the full, bright lights of the restaurant had been lit up like a bar at 4 AM telling folks to go the hell home.
My advice to management: close whenever you want, but update your google maps so your guests who just want a combo plate don’t suffer through your misery of trying to close down a restaurant. We will never be coming back.

We were seated promptly and our server was attentive. I ordered the Mexican lasagna which was delicious. Good portion sizes and I also enjoyed the peach margarita. Since it was as off season I had no issues with parking or the restaurant being too crowded. Will definitely come back.

Alert! Make sure you thoroughly check your receipt, they added in the gratuity and didn’t make me aware of it. You also get hit with another 2% for Arts & Ent Fee being in Destin Commons. Service wasn’t that great, my fish tacos were very dry and a little over priced.

Food was delicious with outdoor seating or indoor. Great atmosphere. Started the meal with great chips and salsa. The buy one get one house margarita was delicious. We both had delicious meals. No complaints!

I am not from here just visiting and I would say the customer service was good. I called because I had some questions due to certain allergies and the guy was great and patient with my questions. When the food arrived everything looked amazing. The steak street tacos I really didn’t care for. But baby, everything else was good! I order el J Alambre. I can’t speak for the atmosphere because I did carry out. I think I’ll try it again on the next visit.

This was my first time here. Visiting family. The atmosphere was loud. Too loud! It was hard to have a conversation at the table. The food & drinks were good. Once our food was served, we were all ready to eat but didn’t we have any cutlery! Our server took care of that. Overall, a good place to eat.

Looking for a great place to eat and dog friendly, this is your place. I got 3 crunchy tacos, refried beans and rice. They were tasty. My wife got 3 soft tacos, refried beans and rice. The chips were warm and the salsa was delicious. Plus we ate on the patio so we brought Captain Jack. Our waiter was top notch. Great place to eat and dog friendly too.
