We have been looking for a decent place to eat that isn’t fast food or TexMex for while in Big Spring.

Starting with walking in the front door. Walked in at 5:30p on a Saturday night. The bar area looked lively and fun.

One of the staff approached us right away and asked where we would like to sit. We opted for the dining area. She took us to a quiet and comfortable booth.

Steffany was our waitress/server. Super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Soft drinks and water were in huge cups. I ordered a bourbon/coke zero in a tall glass. The libation did not disappoint! If I didn’t know any better, it was a double. (Paid for a single).

Chips and salsa were brought to the table. Pretty standard fare.

We ordered a ‘Beef Burrito w/gravy”, an Albinal plate, and a crispy beef taco. The beef burrito also came with a beef enchilada.

The sides – Charro beans are to die for. The refried beans were excellent as well. The Mexican rice was average but interesting with peas and carrots added into the mix. The flour tortillas are , made fresh at the restaurant.

The entrees – the burrito with gravy was finished by the spouse. She ate all of it, which means either she was starving or it was really good. She says “really good”. The Albanil was AMAZING . See the menu for its explanation . The crispy taco was as good as the best tacos I’ve eaten in Mexico, Arizona, Cali, Illinois or New York! The #35 will be my new favorite lunch special!

The time from ordering our food to being delivered to the table couldn’t have been 15 minutes.

Steffany visited our table no less than 4 times to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. She was amazing and we will be asking for her next time.

The best part – Friendly and complimentary staff, delicious food, perfect portions, plenty of drinks and the bill for all of this – $43 !!!!!

You have to try this place if you haven’t already been!

This was the first time visiting and it was very good. Ordered the enchiladas and the tortillas were more of a flour mixture than the corn tortillas most places use for their enchiladas so that was different but so good as well! My wife ordered the steak with the nopales (cactus). The place is authentic down to the drinks, food, and wonderful service we received. The chips and salsa were also very good and you could tell they were not simply out of a premade bag or premade salsa. Very good Mexican spot and we will definitely recommend and return!

I’m a family of 8 and went on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted with a warm welcoming and seated very quick. Our waitress was very patient and sweet considering it was our 1st time and couldn’t decide what to eat (everything looked good!) . All of our food came out hot and fresh. Everything to the queso, drinks, and food was on point! We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Absolutely fabulous. I don’t eat a lot of Mexican at the restaurant anymore because it always tastes bland and assembled.

This food is amazing though! Pollo Jalisco was absolutely perfect. The enchilada gravy is right, peppers and veggies are fresh and crisp. The Asada fries are the absolute best I’ve ever had – hands down.

Clean, colorful atmosphere. Music wasn’t too loud. Plenty of daily specials. Attentive staff, good service.

I have always hated eating in Big Spring, but I’ll look forward to it now, because this will be the only place I eat when I come here.

The elderly lady behind the bar was very rude today, despite us being frequent customers and spending over $500 each time we come. Today her service was disgusting. I think if she doesn’t like her job, she should find a new one. I’ve never been treated like that before. Everything else was perfect: the waitresses were excellent, and the food was great too. It’s just that the woman behind the bar was in a very bad mood today, and I won’t accept that.

We were greeted with a smiling face, sat down promptly and drink orders taken immediately. I ordered the Tortilla Soup and it was second to none! My 9 yr old who is the pickiest eater ever
(Ordered pancakes) ended up abandoning her plate to take a seat next to me along with a spoon and proceeded to help herself! Wait staff was attentive and prompt! We def have found our new dinner spot!
Thanks for great food and great service, has become hard to find in Big Spring!

While traveling through Big Springs, we took a quick break and were fortunate enough to stumble upon a great little spot.

Stefani, the lady at the register, suggested a few options, and we found everything to be delicious!!

If you’re ever in the area, be sure to stop by and say Hi to the ladies, the entire staff was extremely friendly and the food delicious, prices very reasonable!!

We are stuffed… this copilot is sure to fall asleep lol

We honestly weren’t fans. The tea tasted like tap tap water. I couldn’t add enough lemon to help it out. The enchilada sauce has a cream of chicken taste with a splash of chili powder. There should have been salsa on the thin sirloin steak. I was asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. Never received them. Other tables were sent wrong plates. Other tables voiced their frustrations and left. Probably won’t be back for a while.

Food was average. Double check what is included with your order. I had the #15, which according to the menu comes with guacamole, but I didn’t receive any. I asked for some to-go cups and upon looking at the bill, I was charged 50 cents per cup.
