I have loved El Jalapeño since it was El Guacamole and it does not disappoint. The food is always delicious and my take out orders are just like they were ordered in person! I always love the empanadas and birria tacos (they are so yummy!) I will definitely be back.

Food: Lacking the expected vibrant spices and flavor, just “bland.” 🙁
Margarita: Very good!
Would I recommend: If you prefer to add salt & pepper to your food, yes. Thank goodness for the red & green salsa which added the much needed flavor.
What we enjoyed the most were the chips, the red and green salsa and the delish guacamole. Best of luck to the owners and pls. consider adding some much needed spices (garlic) to your food.

Havent been here since my 30th birthday and I missed this place!! The food quality is consistently amazing, and the cocktails are my favorite in the area. Hubby said it was the best birrira ramen hes had , so we will definitely be back soon. I wish i remembered our servers name, she was a sweetheart.i hope they keep the “be mine” drink

I went in on a Tuesday and the hostess was super kind and even checked up on my table. On the other hand, my waiter Mirian acted like I pestered her. I thought it was just an off day and enjoyed my food, left, and paid. I came back on Friday, and the new waiter Marilyn, was also extremely rude. The chef and the bartender were amazing and catered nicely. I enjoyed the food, despite all the complaints. The waitress even forgot my drink. I’m extremely satisfied with the food, but management needs to check up on who they are hiring. I did not feel accepted by my waitresses at all.. I’m super upset. I would really like the higher ups to explore these issues further.

This place is beyond Awesome!! I personally have always been a person that did not like Mexican restaurants but I can’t get enough of this place. The food is soooo good and the staff is amazing so if you’re not eating here it’s completely your loss and my wife says their drinks are on point.

Have been twice since the opened. Food portions were amazing. Octopus appetizer is one of the best I’ve ever had. Still working out the wait staff but with the staffing shortages every where happy they have a team at all. Great food and drinks
