Went for lunch and got the special for the day which was pork chop- I paired it with their mashed potatoes and chips and it was simply amazing. Highly recommend. Also the aesthetic of the outside is nostalgic.

Charming small town Cafe. Monday is Chicken Livers plate special and I highly recommend. I get it to go, when staying in small town to the west and eat while working. Have dined in other times as well and definitely has that small town charm. 10/10 for sure.

Loved this place! Came here for the small town cafe vibe, and it delivered perfectly.
Service is order/pay up at front, then they bring out your meal to your table.
The atmosphere was perfect for small town cafe, don’t get in a hurry, this isn’t that kinda place. But the food came out in good time. Staff was pleasant and helpful!
Good amount of seating for small place.
Food was your basic cafe style, it tasted great, loved the homemade gravy! (We were there for breakfast.)

This place is okay. Some of the food tastes like it came right out of a Sisco bag and plopped into the fryer. Prices are very high, especially eating off of plastic silverware and plates. Why should I pay $18 for a lunch, per person, on disposable plates/cups? I guess it is the only place to eat for many miles and people are willing to pay for the convenience. The service was fine, one girl, friendly, at the register taking orders and serving. However, when orders are ready in the back, plates are placed on the counter, next to where customers pick up straws and pay their bills. That means my food is sitting right next to paying customers until they are brought to my table? This is not acceptable…They need a much better system here. Not worth the drive for “the atmosphere.”

We’ve tried this place twice: once for breakfast, once for lunch. It’s rather expensive for what you get. It’s the only place around for 12-15 miles so I believe locals are thankful to have an eatery closer than that. It’s very clean. The food is okay, but nothing special.

The issue I really have a problem with is paying $15+ for a meal and having to eat/drink on plastic! Might as well go through the drive thru at Sonic. The decor sets this place apart, not the food.

The chicken fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had. You couldn’t have got any better in a 5 star restaurant.

The food is delicious every time we go! I must make mention of the homemade breakfast pizza, it’s wonderful. If you haven’t tried this place yet- it’s time!

I have eaten here several times and it is consistently excellent! The burgers use a higher quality of beef, the buns are toasted and they taste very good. The staff here is very friendly and I look forward to going back.
