I’ve gone to this place twice now, my dad really likes it for a reason. First time I ordered a quesadilla. It comes with a side of rice and beans and a small salad. The second time I got a shrimp burrito, and it came with a side of salad. I dont get the salad part, especially coming from a Hispanic standpoint. It also doesn’t go well with a hot plate. Two times I’ve gone, the place has been dead – no one else came to eat and we have gone between 5 – 7pm. I wouldn’t go back, the lady also seems stiff and know-it-all demeanor. Oh, my dad got the shrimp cocktail and mom the fried fish.

The food was incredible. I loved the Sunday breakfast buffet. Many mexican food choices. Enchiladas, Chile relleno, pozole, menudo, mole, chicharron con chile, nopales with eggs and many more foods. The tortillas are homemade and the champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) was so delicious. I hadn’t been here in awhile because of poor service, but I’m glad I returned. Excellent customer service this time and great food! I will definitely be back soon.

Came on a Sunday morning for the buffet with a party of 14. Not one of us had a complaint. The variety of entrees was amazing. Soups, salads, meats, sides, desserts. The outside of the building can be deceiving, but once you get through the door, it’s very welcoming. The atmosphere is excellent. Very kind and friendly staff.

Food it’s ok but Took too long.
Restaurant empty!, my food was seating at the window while the servers and owner were packing their left over food from the buffet.
Server was nice, but too slow in general.
We were 2 and I ordered 2 tacos while I waited, well I got 1 plate 1 silverware no napkins.
I asked for napkins and setting, the owner brought me 1 silverware only!
Food it’s good but not great!
Definitely won’t come back to this place again.
Plus they never gave me my receipt, 3 plates, 2 beers, 2 tacos $100 not worth it.

El Dorado is a very laid-back restaurant. I’ve been here about a half-dozen times and each time there is only a few people in the restaurant besides myself. I think a lot of people don’t know that their restaurant is there. Each time I have come to this restaurant I have gotten served quickly and gotton fresh food. The service is always friendly and the food is good value for the money.

Place was nasty. Sticky floors and tables. Cashier was not nice or hospitable. She was very stand offish. Seemed a little moody. Maybe it was a long night the night before. All I know is I’m not going back. Food was greasy and too pricey for the quality and dirty tables and floors.

I just moved to the area moving in the new home community a few blocks away and gotta say this is some of the better Mexican food I have had since I moved to Bay Area from Texas. Their carnitas are actually some of the best I have had even in comparison to Texas. Although quiet during the evenings the staff are warm and friendly. They have full range of drinks including most Mexican beers and Other bottled drinks. and…they keep the place really clean. All in all I am very happy with them. I have also had their Milanesa which is also very good 🙂
