I heard this spot had the Best Birria tacos and let me say delicious! I’m from Cali where the Mexican food is amazing but these tacos and the consome so flavorful they were loaded with meat and tons of cheese . My daughter had shrimp tacos they were packed with shrimp and cheese and peppers and the shrimp was fresh tasting . I had a mango juice that tasted so good mmmm this will for sure be my go to spot for now on !

Though the food was good, my experience was not entirely positive. Upon my arrival, I received odd stares from the workers. (I was the only black person in the restaurant.) As I proceeded to make my order, I kindly asked one of the workers for her thoughts on the birria tacos, since I had never had one before. She had a poor attitude and instead spoke in another language to her coworker. I ordered the tacos with a small Mango drink and waited 20 minutes for my food. The tables were dirty from prior guests. I had to clean the table and seat myself. I sat by the entrance and ate, and continued to receive odd stares from the workers and guests. I felt uncomfortable. I didn’t feel welcomed. I will not be returning.

one of my favorite places in Lawrenceville. Definitely a go-to spot! It’s greatly priced and the food is amazing, authentic street tacos … I go any chance I’m there. When I used to work in Lawrenceville we ate here at least 2wice a week on our lunch break. I love the tacos and I also love the birria tacos

This is my third visit to El Indio. The service is always quick and the staff are friendly. I love the birria quesotacos. They have the perfect amount of meat and cheese, and the fries are seasoned just right.

I very upset! I called in and asked for dip with chips on the side. I then asked them did they put chicken and peppers in the dip? The person who was answering my call, said “we do what ever you like.” I said okay. I would like the cheese queso with chicken and pepper in side of it. They normally do a bowl or small jar of queso. I just wanted something added to it. I would have been fine if they didn’t do that! Yet they said they could. I get there and they act like I didn’t order what I ordered. They say it’s nachos, that’s what you ordered. I said no, I ordered the queso dip with chicken and peppers in it. The guy at the door dropping off the to go orders at the front tell me, “ that’s what you ordered, it’s nachos.” Anyone who hasn’t been here would think so but no, on their menu it’s cheese and chips. He opens the bag and it’s a small pan of chicken and peppers in it. I said, “ I asked for queso dip, and explain the person on the call said they could do it. He tells me(man placing To-go bags at the front) there’s cheese inside. Then I say that’s not what I wanted, he ask me “are you okay?” I explain No because I have an ulcer on my eyes and glasses on. I wanted comfort food and now my damn order is messed up. Then he said we can add the cheese on the side for 2 more dollars. I didn’t want that in the first place. So irritated now. I paid for the food like a jack instead of leaving it and I shouldn’t have. I should have never been that nice and I should have left it. Smh 13 dollars gone because I couldn’t just stand my ground. Anywho, stand your ground people if they mess up your order, they don’t deserve your money. Especially if they are not willing to fix the issue! Got home all the “cheese” / liquid was in the bottoms of the bag. Smh never again

I can say that the other El Indio location is great but this location, the flavor, was much better. Just be expected to wait a long time for you on a weekend but fortunately i came lat on a weekday so it wasn’t and food came out fast. Birria Quesdilla was great, but the tacos my GF got were better. Highly recommend.
