The food is a gross soupy mess that should come in a bowl, not on a plate. It tastes bad and isn’t worth the effort someone put into it to make it.
The service is absent, we had to walk around to the kitchen to get seated and then the waiter would disappear only to show up long after you wanted to order or get the check or pay the check or return with your card, I felt like he was trying to get us to dine and dash.
There were no customers in the whole restaurant except one other couple and the wait staff still couldn’t give us service.
They also like to raise their prices right there while ordering, I got there Express Burrito; I think that refers to how fast it made me sick; and no where did it say there was an up charge for carne asad or that the meat options are only chicken or ground beef so he wanted to charge me $3 more for my dinner.
My wife got a taco salad, and it was also a soup, and now she is mad and has an upset stomach.
They think very highly of themselves because for the bad service they provide if you are in a group larger than five people they charge you an 18% fee or if you spend more than $100 they charge you the same 18% fee, I thought this was there job?
They suck at the service they provide and want to charge you more, so on that note, I won’t be back unless it’s to light the…
The chips and salsa are still good, but you only get the first one free!
I ordered Steak and Chicken combo Fajitas but I didn’t recognize they are stirred all meat up together. Because when I was living in Washington DC. Mostly Mexican restaurants Served me the fajitas combo they gave to me separately cooked each meat and only displayed it same dish. So I was shocked when I saw this restaurant’s combo Fajitas. Also I try to my husband and my son’s dishes they are just ok. It doesn’t a really good or delicious. But crews are nice our server is very kind, nice and caring for us. Facility is clean, neat and family had a good time.
The salt rimmed glass is then filled with the strained contents of the shaker and served to the grateful customer.
The only thing similar to that beverage and the margarite served at El Indio is the price you will pay. When you pay this top price at El Indio they will make you a margarita by filling a novelty glass well over the top with ice. They will pour a premix green sugar water all they way to the top and then add not quite half an ounce of joven tequila and serve it to you.
So if you like paying a lot for a glass of ice covered in green sugar water and a splash of a blended tequila, then El Indio is the place for you.
(The food is typical.)
They provide free chips and salsa, but if you want a refill it will cost ya.
This food is so damn expensive and very cafeteria-esque. The quesabirra was underwhelming, and were essentially $7 each!! They were accompanied by bland beans and weird tasting rice.
I didn’t love my overpriced meal and should have just let them throw it away, but felt compelled to take the rest to-go because of the cost. I was shocked when I saw that they charged for a freakin’ to-go container. Unreal.
NEVER AGAIN.
