Ordered a $22 dollar michelada thinking it was going to be good, first they forgot to add the shrimp, I had to ask the waitress and she brought me 3 small shrimps, then she said they didn’t have scallops and when I tried it, it had no flavor! It tasted like plain beer with chili powder that’s it.
Then we ordered a molcajete with a fried cactus, shrimp, steak, chicken, sausage. Well when we got it, it had no cactus so I had to ask the waitress again and she went and asked the cook, she came back and said they didn’t have any, she offered more beans??? Oh and there were barely and steak and chicken.
She didn’t offer a discount after all the trouble. They over priced the flavorless michelada at $22!! Very poor service. Last time I’ll go to this restaurant.

Quick and friendly service. Chips and salsa were good. The tacos were delicious and very flavorful. The tamale melted in your mouth; the margarita was good…I appreciated the variety of tequila options. I strongly recommend a visit for some delicious Mexican food

Tasty red, green and hot salsas, chips are wonderful, guacamole is delicious and tortillas are soft! Tacos are soooo good. Pastor and steak mixed is the best, their pastor is so flavorful!! Will definitely be coming regularly for tacos

Fast and friendly service. The food was excellent and prices were reasonable. I had the Mexicano burrito that is pictured with the Mexican flag…. excellent. We love this little neighborhood restaurant, it’s got such a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food! Definitely awesome to have such a great restaurant in walking distance, a rarity over here in the burbs. We loooove the paintings done by some of the staffs extremely talented cousin as well.

My order had glass in it! I ordered through Eat Street and two of the dishes had pieces of glass in it. Eat Street said to contact the restaurant. I contacted them and they said there’s nothing they could do and no way it had glass in it.
Response to the restaurant’s response. I never said anything about a missing dish or plastic. Can you not see the glass in my photos. I guarantee I make more than you. I’m not looking for a free meal. I’ve ordered from you guys several times without issue. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Everything about El Imperio Mexican Food was amazing!! The most delicious fajita burrito and margaritas I have ever had! Great prices and service too! We will be back many times in the future!

The waiter working at around 7 PM on Friday night had a bunch of tables, but did a great job making sure we were well attended to.
The food was excellent. I had the chimichanga verde, and the outside was crisp, the vegetables were fresh, and the interior was flavorful. I got a very good amount of food for the price.
