I’m kind of obsessed with this place! Every time we’re in Blue Ridge, we have to stop by El Hamburger and Rum Cake Lady. To us it feels more like we’re treating ourselves, not just eating out.
Lately I’ve been getting the Frita Cubana. It’s kind of like a mix between a hamburger and a sloppy joe, but way better. Their hamburger is also amazing. You can make it a double-decker or triple, and hits the spot every time! This time we got both fries and onion rings which were also amazing.
The thing that stands out to me is that the food is always fresh and you can tell they took their time and made it with care. It’s just one of those places that never lets you down. Honestly, I can’t go to Blue Ridge without eating here. If you’re nearby, you should definitely check it out!

Was inexpensive, the staff was helpful, and they made sure we were accommodated even close to closing. We were hoping to get a smash burger, but only the plancha griddle was on, so we got a pretty tasty Cuban and a Medianoche.
I’d love to stop by a little earlier and try the American (smash) next time we’re in the area!

Payed 18 dollars for a Cuban hamburger and up charge for 5 over grown chewy fries (yuka). The burger had nothing but meat and bread. Dont waste your money, fast food is the better option. I didnt even get a drink and almost payed 20. Scammers

When you think hamburger, you don’t usually think of Cuban, but Rum Cake Lady has changed that thinking. The El Hamberger is fantastic! The flavor and seasoning are incredible, plus the bread puts it over the top. It was better than any hamburger around. I highly recommend you pass by Rum Cake Lady and grab a El Hamberger, you won’t regret it!

I stopped by El hamberger in Blue ridge and was seriously impressed! The Double Burger was juicy, full of flavor, and had the perfect mix of bacon and grilled onions. The Yuca fries were crispy just the way I like them. Everything was fresh, and the outdoor seating had a cozy vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town!
