Great food. I had the veggie tacos. They are street food style, so you get 2 tortillas in 1 taco. I didn’t realize this and ordered 2 tacos and ended up taking one home. The sweet potato fries are excellent.

Stopped by this gem after a day at the beach. The food here was great. Portions were perfect and the employees were super nice.
We tried a variety of plates and everything was tasty. Check them out if your near the area and want fast, friendly service.
Looking for a good margarita? This is the place to go to.

Probably 4.5 stars but it wasn’t perfect. The carnitas were crispy, but not greasy. They were great.
The round down to 4 instead of up to 5 was because my water is empty (no refills), and the rice and beans were just “ok”.

Have eaten here many times, always great service and solid menu choices. Personal favourites include the plate meals and the burrito bowls.

The happy hour menu is a hidden gem. If you are in a pinch and looking for a really good margarita or taco this is yourspot. I would avoid the quesadilla in the future as it’s not a lot of food relative to other dishes. One enhancement to the menu would be bringing churros on board as a dessert option….or flan

Good food and service, but prices have increased 30-40% over the past few years, causing us to change our habit from attending weekly to approximately attended every 2 months.
Update: prices continue to rise, $21+ for a bowl. Arrived at prime dinner time and restaurant was nearly empty, concerning for a place I enjoyed going to almost weekly…

They were really busy, so our extremely hard working server suggested takeout. Was a good choice. Ordered the carne Asada burrito which was good but also included were chips and salsa.

I thought I was on a hidden camera show when I was here. My wife and I asked for a margarita with the chili on the rim instead of salt because we like it spicy. Seems simple enough right? They came out with plastic water glasses with chili flakes (the ones you sprinkle on pizza) completely covered in it. Lol we asked a gentleman why they didn’t put Tajine on it? And they pointed at the name “El Gringo” and said look it means the white so what do you expect.. I was too hungry to put up an argument so we just reordered without the pizza chili flakes on the rim. I then ordered the carne asada plate and it came out no later than 3 mins after I had ordered..it legitimately looked like dog food and was heated up in a microwave. Not sure how this place is in business. No effort or thought put into anything here. Stay far away.
