We kind of happened upon this little gem by accident. We were hungry, pressed for time and saw the smoker outside and people happily waiting around. So glad we did!.
We got the salad with chicken and a breakfast quesadilla with halibut and eggs. Everything was soooo fresh. The salsa that came with the quesadilla was sooooo delicious. Nice big portions and super friendly staff!

Delicious tacos and burritos, both the standard street tacos we all know and love as well as some inventive twists. Halibut tacos were amazing! The smoke from the BBQ smelled soooo good too. Not a ton of seating and it’s all outdoor.

UMMMM SO GOOD!!!! These tacos were incredible. Absolutely get the halibut tacos street style – you will not regret it.
My tip – You have to pay extra for salsa and probably don’t need it.
Only negative for this place is that the smoke from the smoker may blow directly at you while waiting for food and eating given where it’s placed.

Wow, very tasty Mexican food at a good price. I got the Mex plate with pork which was delicious. They have their own smoker just outside where they were smoking all their meat. After I ordered I saw them tending to the smoker, next time I’ll try the brisket for sure!

I wanted something local so I figured a food truck that served Alaskan smoked salmon tacos where the salmon was being smoked right at the food truck would fit the bill!
I knew I made the right decision before I even tasted them because of the amazing smoky aroma which wafted in my direction as I got closer.
Friendly, helpful guy took my order and explained it may be a few minutes as the fish was literally still smoking… but it was worth the wait. Absolutely delicious!!

Everything about this place is amazing! Just being available for summer only makes it a novelty experience. Everyone needs to visit Alaska at least once in their life and I’d say the same thing about El Green-Go’s

Pretty amazing spot for some street tacos, right off the street! Their burritos are really good and, if available, ask for the rainbow smothered burrito! It’s all of their sauces covering the top and it’s a great mix of flavors. We got a salmon and chicken street taco with chicken burritos in rainbow sauce. They’re know for adding there jalapeño friche sauce in everything and for good reason. It makes everything better. The only thing greater than their food is the hospitality! The lady that runs the place loves getting to know the customers and I think the dish drop-off bin is strategically placed by her window so she can check on you when you’re done eating
