Just tried this local taqueria —the barbacoa taco is next level. Super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Great portion of meat per taco, and the fresh toppings + house salsa = Chef’s kiss. Tacos are $3 each. The staff is super friendly, and the place is really clean and inviting.

I didn’t even want to post this review because I didn’t want it to get super busy when I go ( I know selfish) but the desever all the hype and the business.
The food: Their food is INCREDIBLE! if you are looking to give your taste buds something to really remember this is it. I’m honestly tired of going to Mexican restaurants and their salsas are not even good when thats such a Mexican staple. However… their salsa is AMAZING so full of flavor and the well known Mexican kick! The meat is prefectly cooked and seasoned it really gives you that authentic Mexican taste. I live in Aurora and drive to Thornton for these tacos… so trust me your search for good Mexican food is over go here.
The service: Amazing, they are so warm and friendly and the food is usually out pretty fast! I have never had a problem here with someone being unwelcoming or disrespectful. They are so sweet!
Atmosphere: So great! I mean the set up is so cute it feels like your eating out side in a small taco place while being inside? When you go you will understand. It feels like you left Colorado and stepped into a small town in Mexico and are enjoying the music, food and decor accord to that. Don’t get it wrong this isn’t a themed restaurant, dont expect that. Expect a genuine great Mexican place with incredible Food.

What a hidden gem. Place is nothing fancy but the food is good. Service was fast and staff nice. The red and green salsa have heat if thats what you like too. The smothered pastor burrito was delish. And when I asked for crispy tripa they hit the mark. They stay open later so I know I will be back for late night munchies again.

Ive had their gorditas a couple of times, easily the best I’ve had! The masa tortilla is the perfect texture and adds wonderful flavor, while holding all the goodies inside. The salsas they serve with it are fire; both delicious and spicy! Great prices and cute barn like vibe.

The pic with Al Pastor on a spit drew me in. I get there and there is no layered pork on the spit anywho, 4 al pastor taco for $8 (green, red sauce & lime) the pork had NO SAŹON( look it up) meat was kinda dry the sauces very spicy. Hubby and I gave this place 4 stars they are cheap tacos for when your hangry.

I like tacos el gordo… eat there twice a month, tacos are a little too small for the price. Flavor is ok. I like to order their carne asada burritos is my favorite. Overall is just another taco truck. At night that area looks dangerous but its all good. Just another taco truck nothing special about it.

We decided on a whim to give them another try. I must say this go around they did good. The food was good, everything was there, they gave us plenty of veggies and salsas too. The ladies were very nice and courteous. It’s been hit and miss, but it’s getting better.

We used to come to this place often. I typically would order the buche or the al pastor. We’ve had several bad experiences recently from wrong food items, missing items, or incorrect price. This last time we spent almost $200 on food. I ordered 3 bean and cheese burritos, they gave me 3 sides of beans and cheese for the price of the burritos, I ordered two smothered burritos got charged an additional $2.88 for the smother and they were handheld (I did ask for one to have the chili on the side, also asked for no onion on one and it was loaded with onion), I ordered an order of buche tacos with crispy meat and it was burnt. Very disappointed, literally the only thing we were ok with was the two orders of asada tacos and the drinks. This will more than likely be the last time we go here which is a shame because we usually spend more than $100 on every order.
