I ate the Jalea at this place. I’m Peruvian so I have had that dish in MANY restaurants throughout my life. This was by far THE WORST rendition of jalea that I have EVER had. It was exaggeratedly salty, they didn’t include any baby squid, they didn’t include any mussels, there were a total of 3 shrimp in the entire thing, and they gave me a tiny little bit of red onion salad that wasn’t even enough to eat with half of the dish. Aside from all that, it’s obvious that they don’t care about their seasoning or presentation. It was disgusting. Peruvian food is some of the most delicious in the world, and somehow they manage to even mess up the “aji verde” by making it watery and tasteless. It didn’t even have any spice to it or “kick.” It was just green watery salt. DISGUSTING.

Came to enjoy some authentic Peruvian cuisine. Left disappointed. For starters the chicha morrada is not house made, packaged and pre bottled. The food looked appetizing but when it came down to taste, it lacked freshness and flavor. In the past pre pandemic food was really good, but quality has gone down. We dined in and weren’t that wowed by the food. There are other fresher and tastier Peruvian food options in the area. Service was okay. Food lacked soul, and honestly were let down this time.

Absolutely unacceptable. We ordered two orders of white quarter chicken (breast part) with white rice and extra sauce for pick up. We received dark meat. Now this isn’t the first time this occurred. Last time we received one dark and one white quarter chicken which we just let it go. Now this time around we received two dark meat quarters chicken which we specifically indicated on the phone we wanted white meat. I called to request them to exchange it to the correct order. The guy said he didn’t speak English and when they finally understood they said they can’t switch it.How is it that it’s ok for the restaurant to make a mistake and they couldn’t correct it. Unacceptable. I don’t recommend this place.

The restaurant used to be really good. But for the past few years has been severely lacking. Not only are the prices insane, the food is mediocre at best. I had the causa de atun and it was so bad. I didn’t think I could ever taste a bad causa but this one was it. It wasn’t even the atun, it was the actual potato. I also got the arroz con pollo con huancaina and was sadly very disappointed. They skimped me so bad on the huancaina and the chicken was so dry. Pretty upset I spent $26 on such bad food.

I will NEVER EVER return to this place again, we were about to sit down and order as we do weekly, and a lady was paying for her food and the cashier/worker was packing her food, he sneezed all over the chicken and food he packed and didn’t even cover up, luckily her food was already packed, another lady also saw this and told him how disgusting it was and he paid it no mind, we walked out and it didn’t even face him to apologize. Disgusting, not worth it…

This place is MY GOOOOO TOOO if I’m feeling Peruvian food, always made with LOVEEE, I’ve gotten many different things but everything no matter what you choose is amazing ! Will never come back to this place, my server was rude even the owner was rude. The price on the menu is different I ordered el gordo seafood fried rice on the menu it says $21 they charged me $25 when i asked why they were charging me more the server said thats what the system was charging, i asked for a manager the owner came to speak to me and said they haven’t updated the menu $25 is the price if i dont like it i can leave. They rather lose customers than accommodate the price to what the menu says.

If i can give a negative star I would do so but I cant. The owner and the waiter are rude and wont even say thank you. These people gave an attitude just for asking for extra hot sauce (rocoto) I offered to pay for it and was told that they dont sell it and use it in the kitchen only, how ever its a restaurant why would they deny something like that. Please avoid coming here and go to the other local Peruvian Restaurants with better service and better food.
