If I could give them more stars, I would, they ABSOLUTELY deserve it! Visiting town for a bit and some friends recommended this place. Wasn’t really expecting anything great in this area. But I stopped in for the first time today and I am SO GLAD I did. Not only was I treated to a wonderful, spot on, authentic meal, but the women, Julia, who owns this place was so sweet and nice to talk with. They will be seeing plenty more of me while I’m around.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. The service is very friendly and fast without sacrificing quality. The reviews on El Gordito Market are all TRUE!!!!! We were just passing through the area looking for a place to eat and most certainly were not disappointed in our corn tortillas and chicken/cheese enchilada platters. My friend and I stopped in on a Saturday. We walked in and Julia the owner was sitting down having some lunch and there was no one in the restaurant. So we got her full attention she gave us both a hug because she new me and glad to see me. We ordered our food and my friend asked about the tamales so when she brought our food she also brought a tamale for us to try. We finished our meal it was real good. We also ordered a dozen and a half of tamales to go.Great place for real Mexican food! Thanks Julia!
