This is a tapas place in Prescott. I recommend trying it. They have a nice outside seating which we didn’t experience because it would be a long wait. Food portion was bigger than most tapas place. Service was nice and friendly from every staff member. We like the escargot and the fig & goat cheese. The chorizo meat balls and chicken Florentine penne was generic. I would come back to try other dishes in the future.

Lots of tapas to chose from—watch out for the word “fried” because it unequivocally meant a breaded and fried. The coconut shrimp (so yummy with a curry sauce on top) and the Parmesan muscles were our favorites. We also tried the artichoke, the papas con queso, and the fried green tomatoes, which were not bad. Service was fast and friendly, even though they were busy. It’s a popular spot!

I have loved this restaurant for years, and I’ve got to admit now that something’s off. I used to consider El Gato Azul to be necessary dining to the Prescott dining experience. Now, it’s just fine. Go for the atmosphere and the drinks. The food has sadly lost it’s luster.

The calamari salad appeared delicious however, I was unable to chew it and spit it into a napkin. My friend tried a piece and also had to yank on it to try biting into it. Nice place. Nice employees but highly doubt I would go back.

Although I am typically generous with ratings, this is definitely a full 5. This is a favorite stop in Prescott, very unassuming from the outside, but, amazing food. We always have the Tapas. No favorites, they are all amazing. Special call out on the beef blue cheese tacos, lamb chops, cucumber salad and artichoke choke dip. Saw the full meal of blackened salmon salad come out today and it looked awesome. I’ll add that also g with the Tapas next time. Great place and highly recommended- you will not be disappointed.

This is my favorite little restaurant in Prescott. The food is always spectacular. It’s such a cute, good vibe, treasure of a place. I’ll use any excuse to make the 90 min drive to Prescott just to eat here.

Had dinner here on a Sunday night on the patio, weather was nice and the service was good. The food was excellent! We tried a variety of tapas and all of them were really good and there are plenty more to try on my next visit. (we also had the paella which was good but not great). I also had a very tasty old fashioned. I would definitely recommend this place and will return next time I’m in Prescott.
