The food was delicious!!! The fish was fried perfectly . Our server was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very lively and festive. A live band started to play shortly after we arrived. 530 pm on a sat. Would highly recommend this place for a night out.

El Gallito Sinaloense is a lively spot that feels like a party as soon as you walk in, banda music, birthday celebrations, and a fun atmosphere all around. The tostadas and creamy chipotle shrimp were outstanding, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I also had a michelada with Modelo Negra that hit the spot. The only thing I’d tweak was the cóctel, which leaned a little too sweet for my taste. Overall, though, this place is a great time for both food and vibe. Highly recommend for a fun night out.

The food was delicious, very large portions so it’s worth the buck. Server eh had to ask for refills from another. Literally had to flag her down for bill, to go container. I bet ppl will start walking out not paying they aren’t attentive

Its decent, keep in mind there is a live band playing and its not much for talking. Its obnoxiously loud and the food is decent. In peak hours it does take a long time to get food (cold) and some came out faster then others when in large groups. Drinks are very good I’ll give them that.

Great place for ceviche, enchiladas and seafood. The atmosphere is fantastic and if the band is playing, very entertaining. Great margaritas too. Service can be spotty if they are super busy. Don’t be alarmed if you go for dinner and there is security check.

We enjoyed the vibes and the food of this place. We went here for a bday celebration of a friend on a Saturday and it was a lot of things happening in the background from the server, kids who play arcade games, a clown with skillful anime shaped balloons (it was really cool) and the non stop music.
The food was really good and their drinks hit the spot. We got margaritas, beer, mules, and other more. For food it was a molcajete, enchiladas, red snapper, tacos, burrito.
The service was kind of hard to rate. She did her best I know since there was A LOT of people but it took us 1hr to get our drinks and another 1hr to get our food. So it took us 3hrs in total not included the wait time.
It seems like most people go here to drink more than dining in and eat.
Also if you can, bring a friend that can speak spanish as the language barrier was hard even their menu indicates english and spanish, plus with loud music.
Yet! Despite of all the downsides we had fun in this place and for sure we will go back.

First time but what a wonderful experience. Very friendly and fast service. We have very picky eaters and they had something for everyone on the menu! My 14 yr old even did a shoulder dance when she got her food. A shoulder dance! I was shocked, she hates everything! We all loved it and after seeing the awesome vibe the hubby and I declared this place the new late night date night spot. We can’t wait to come back and try more awesome food and enjoy the music with some beers!

I’m from Houston, came to San Antonio for work business. I was looking for a place like this to have a good time and I did, good food, atmosphere, the staff overall thank you Ricky at the bar he was fantastic making all the super cocktails we really appreciate the attention towards us and to the people at the bar. I highly recommend this place and share my experience hope to come back again that I really enjoy, music really great. Yes, it is busy and will take sometime but be patient it is really busy because it’s a good place to have a good time specially birthdays the wait it’s worthwhile as well the prices, the drinks so many to choose from huge Margaritas and Cantaritos .
